    I've seen folks, in the store that I get my tickets, give the person who sold them the ticket or scratch off a tip for far lesser amounts. It's up to the individual. Since I usually get my tickets from the same person I will definitely give him a nice tip when I win.

      My earlier comment about not feeling obligated to give a tip doesn't mean that I would not.

      No one can say for sure how they're going to feel after winning, but I would probably give some kind of tip if I bought the ticket from my "regular" clerk/store, but I would probably not if I happened to buy the ticket from some other place on a whim.

          i think it all depends how much you win. but saying that you should tip a million bucks is really over the top. since i play the same white balls covering all powerballs i'd probably tip one of the "loosing" tickets = so 500,000 assuming each line was 100k
