49's is not a part of the National Lottery. As far as I know it's put out by the Bettings Industries.(As in bookies). It's just like "Numbers" here. But it's legal. There's no Lottery commission or regulation involved.

Okay, now I believe you can predict lottery numbers

That's awesome! Especially back to back. I have seen 6/7 repeat but never like this. I'm talking about the Canadian National 6/49 where 6+B are pulled from the same drum. In about 20 yrs,  2084 draws, 6/7 has happened 5 times so far. In all cases the bonus was in amongst the numbers.

Did someone actually win the pot in those UK draws?

Don't forget that recently a Cash 5 drawing for the PA Lottery produced over 200+ jackpot winners when the numbers 5-10-15-20-25 were drawn. Each person won about $400.

Or how about the time last year in CA where the guy won the Fantasy 5 and Super Lotto on the same night.

Strange, statistical anomalies DO happen. It doesn't mean something is rigged.
