That's right, BobP, a wheel is no good if the winning numbers are not among those in the wheel. But, to be honest, his advertisement arose my curiosity as to whether he has a good way of choosing the right numbers. That would definitely be what could interest me the most.
By the way, I downloaded the Covermaster a few months ago, but can't understand how it works. Duh! I am looking for a 24-number wheel that doesn't cost too much, maybe up to $35 or so, can that be possible to come up with Covermaster and can you offer any help? Thanks.
Super easy if we're talking Pick-6. If you haven't already, put CoverMaster in a directory like CM54 or CM52 (depending on version you downloaded) and unzip it to that directory.
Visit the directory and double click on Covermaster.exe the program will open.
Using the little scroll arrow boxes next to the white boxes under Cover Parameters advance the boxes to read . . .
Pool-24 (the number of numbers you want to wheel)
Pick-6 (size of the game)
Match-3 (prize you want to win)
Hits-6 (winning numbers you hope will be among the 24)
Click on [Generate][Start] should make a wheel in 28 lines. Do over:
Click on [Generate][Start]check [Auto Optimize][Start] should make
the wheel in about 24 to 26 lines try several times.
At any time you can [stop] or [finish] the wheel and save it or print it.
Wheel can be made in 21-22 lines when you get good there is one on the market in 20, but that's split making a jackpot win virtually impossible. Never use a split wheel for lotto.
There are also ways to load it with your numbers, save and print it and check it for wins. Lots of good stuff in there. Email me if you run into trouble. BobP
