Trump Drives Another Nail Into Obamacare's Coffin

Trump Drives Another Nail Into Obamacare’s Coffin

"....issuing a new regulation allowing association health plans (AHPs) to offer coverage across state lines.

The  new regulation, which was published in the Federal Register on January 5, will be available for public comment for 60 days. When it goes into effect, it will allow small employers to band together for the purpose of buying health insurance in the large group market. Specifically, it will “allow employers to form small business health plans based on geography or industry” and permit such plans “to serve employers in a state, city, county or a multi-state metro area.” It can be used to “serve all the businesses in a particular industry nationwide,” and also allows sole proprietors to join small business health plans. The Trump administration, via the U.S. Department of Labor, summarized its intended effect  as follows: ..."

CFPB Joins Justice In Shaking Down Banks For Democrat Activist Groups

CFPB Joins Justice In Shaking Down Banks For Democrat Activist Groups

6/17/2015 Source: Investors Business Daily

"Extortion: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is diverting potentially millions of dollars in settlement payments for alleged victims of lending bias to a slush fund for poverty groups tied to the Democratic Party.

We've seen this before at the Justice Department, which Congress earlier this year scolded for "shortchanging" alleged victims of Bank of America and Citibank the same way. Justice funneled at least $150 million into a slush fund for Democratic interests, unconstitutionally avoiding Congress.

Now, a little-noticed item on the CFPB's website reveals the powerful new agency is launching its own scheme to provide backdoor funding for nonprofit urban groups politically aligned with Democrats.

The CFPB plans to create a so-called Civil Penalty Fund from its own shakedown operations targeting financial institutions. Through ramped-up (and trumped-up) anti-discrimination lawsuits and investigations, the agency will bankroll some 60 liberal nonprofits, many of whom are radical Acorn-style pressure groups. It says these organizations will provide "financial coaching" for low-income homebuyers, as well as "housing and social services."

EXCLUSIVE: A New CFPB Scandal – Cost Overruns for Its New Lux Headquarters

Cost overruns in a "bureau" with no congressional oversight which used "settlements" to fund leftist organizations.

"Original cost estimates for the CFPB’s renovation were estimated at $55 million, but the bureau ran up the proposed cost to $216 million. ...."

"...Ballooning renovation costs for luxurious perks is only one of a number of high-profile controversies that beset the agency created under President Barack Obama. They include cases of widespread gender, racial and ethnic employment discrimination, massive data mining of 42 billion credit card transactions by consumers, and a history of bullying corporations into turning over millions in dubious settlement cases. ...."

Fired Engineer Damore Sues Google For Discrimination Against White Male Conservatives

"It has been five months since James Damore was fired from his job as an engineer at Google after posting a memo to an internal message board that criticized the company's diversity policies for ignoring differences between the sexes (and daring to use facts to back up his statements on the differences between the sexes).

And now, amid the ever-escalating identity politics of the new normal America,  TechCrunch reports  Damore, along with another former Google engineer named David Gudeman, who spent three years with Google, working on a query engine,  has filed a class action lawsuit against the company  in Santa Clara Superior Court in Northern California.

His claims: that Google unfairly discriminates against white, conservative men.

The lawsuit, filed by Dhillon Law Group, says it aims to represent all employees of Google who’ve been  discriminated against due to their “perceived conservative political views by Google,” due to “their male gender by Google” and “due to their Caucasian race by Google.”

Bundy Case Dismissed, Judge Orders Rancher Released

Upcoming OIG Report Likely To Trigger Second Special Counsel; Comey, Lynch And Clinton In Crosshairs

Upcoming OIG Report Likely To Trigger Second Special Counsel; Comey, Lynch And Clinton In Crosshairs

Source: ZeroHedge

"While most of the MSM fixated last week on whether or not President Trump eats McDonald's in bed while  watching Gorilla TV, a flurry of investigative bombshells involving Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and conduct by the FBI's top brass during the 2016 election splashed across the headlines. As a quick review:

  • The DOJ is "taking a fresh look" into the Hillary Clinton email 'matter'
  • The FBI has launched a new investigation into the Clinton Foundation the day after the Clinton's Chappaqua property catches fire
  • Former FBI Director James Comey's full Clinton memo was released, revealing felony evidence of changes which "decriminalized" Hillary Clinton's behavior. Oh, and every one of the memos he leaked to his Cornell professor buddy was classifiedper a sworn statement  by the FBI's "chief FOIA officer" in a sworn declaration obtained by Judicial Watch.
  • The House Intelligence Committee will be granted access to "all remaining investigative documents," unredacted, along with all witnesses sought per a deal reached between Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Nunes
  • Opposition research firm Fusion GPS was  forced to hand over banking records  detailing various clients and their intermediary law firms, including the Clinton Campaign and a Russian money launderer whose lawyer was none other than Natalia Veselnitskaya of Trump Tower meeting fame

Most of these wheels which appear to be in motion are the result of corresponding groundwork laid on Capitol Hill you may not be aware of,  including what might be the most important document in the entire process, expected in a little over a week.

On  January 15, the DOJ's internal watchdog - the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), is expected to present their findings to Congressional investigators regarding a wide variety of alleged bias and malfeasance by the FBI, the Clinton campaign, and the Obama Administration - both during and after the 2016 election. Moreover,  the man heading up the OIG investigation, Michael Horowitz,  fought the Obama Administration to regain investigative powers which were restricted by former Attorney General Eric Holder during the Fast and Furious scandal.

As you will read below,  this highly anticipated report is likely to be the legal impetus behind a second Special Counsel - as detailed by an independent researcher from New York who goes by the Twitter handle "TrumpSoldier" (@DaveNYviii). His reporting, conveyed below, is a deep dig into the OIG's ongoing investigation, how Congress and the OIG have worked in tandem to pave the way  for a Special Counsel, and how Michael Horowitz went to war with the Obama Administration to restore the  OIG's powers

Who is Michael Horowitz? ...."

The Media Is Upset About Trump's 'Nuclear Button' Wars. Why We Should Ignore Them.

The Media Is Upset About Trump’s ‘Nuclear Button’ Wars. Why We Should Ignore Them.

"It might be understandable that some obsessed about the tweets a year ago, when the administration had little policy and not much of a track record. But now it’s a year later. The administration has lots of policy on the books, including a new  national security strategy.

The administration has also had a year of practicing foreign policy, which so far looks more conventional overall than either of the last two presidents. What’s the excuse now for going nuclear over every tweet?

While pundits and journalists choose to be distracted by every tweet, that doesn’t mean we have to. Let’s make a resolution in 2018 to be reasonable.

Maybe you hate the president. Maybe you hate the tweeting. But if you want to analyze what actual U.S. policies are, try being reasonable."

Americans Are Ditching These Five States In Record Numbers

Map in article showing outbound and inbound states.

Americans Are Ditching These Five States In Record Numbers

"1. People continue to flee the indebted, pension ponzi burdened liberal states of America in record numbers, with Illinois, Connecticut, New Jersey and California all ranking at the very top of the most ditched states of 2017.

2. The natural migratory pattern of New England and California's liberal elitists seems to be toward cheaper and lower taxed states in the Southeast and Western portions of the country...go figure. ...."
