I'll be glad when the elections are over. I'm sick of being bombarded by all the hateful, divisive political ads that are currently flooding the media.
There have been periodic reports of bin Laden's illness or death in recent years but none has been proven accurate.
I guess there's something about living on the lam in a cave that engenders such reports of mortal demise. Sooner or later, they'll be right, but I seriously doubt that it will make much difference. Osama has convinced too many desperate souls that their noblest purpose in life is to die.
My skin feels hot. I cut grass yesterday , but it was overcast and I wasn't outside more than an hour. Maybe the UV's got me.
Nice main stream jazz is playing on the radio this morning. I like that.
I haven't checked my lottery tickets yet. Could be that I won't have to go to work again for the rest of my life. I like this feeling, too. Maybe I'll wait a while longer before checking my tickets.

You'd think that just working at a Wendy's restaurant would be difficult for Ronald MacDonald.
Now, 22-year-old MacDonald – no relation to Ronald McDonald, the clown – has been charged with stealing money from a safe at a Wendy's restaurant location in New Hampshire.
Police said the restaurant manager called police early Monday, and said he found MacDonald and another employee taking money from the safe at about 1:30 a.m.
MacDonald and Steve Lemay, 20, both of Manchester, N.H., were detained at the store until police arrived.

I just knew that I'd somehow get a piece of that record PowerBall run. Nope, it wasn't to be. I matched 1+1 on MADDOG10's challenge, but I didn't cash for anything in reality...nada. I really wasn't prepared to hit the big one anyway, but I think I could have well managed any of the lower tier prizes.
Well, luck just hasn't smiled on me since the white ball matrix change went into effect. I'm joining the ranks of those who only play when the pot becomes an overlay. I guess that would be about 147 million now. I also think I'm going to become a QP player for PowerBall. The odds are just too big for any number handicapping strategy that I've been able to formulate. I'll apply those skills to Lotto South and Hoosier Lotto.
Good luck to the rest of you who will be hamering out the numbers for every draw. I'll just step in with a buck or two when the pot gets juicy, but I'll surely be thankful to everyone who made that pot so big for me. From there, it's just a matter of my QP's and my luck coming through. I think it's about time for that.
