Was it a major city like Chicago? No, it was town where the doctor, bank teller, teacher, police officer, dentist and baker are all the same person.  We won't see that number ever again and PB won't ever make it to that amount.

So the mathematician on 20/20 last night said:

    NO to quick picks

NO to birthdays and anniversaries and important dates

NO to playing the same numbers over and again

NO to 3, 7 and 11 being a part of your combinations

    He said YES to.....? lol!

Has this mathematician ever won the lottery? If not then his advice is as useful as a broke psychic. lol

With regards to Sirbrad being skeptical, I have to agree, unless there is proof you can't really take someone at face value for what they claim, and even then you can still doctor a ticket to look like a winner. More than likely if you have just won, especially in a lottery like this you are not thinking of coming on here and posting. But if he really did win then congratulations.

I am just glad this is over, now we can go back to normal. I lost $6 for the whole week so I am feeling good. I really hope the people that played hundreds and thousands of dollars at least won something substantial, if they they must be pretty depressed today.

NO to quick picks well I bet Mrs. White & Ms.Marcia Adams would disagree

NO to playing the same numbers over and again I bet the 2 WV Veterans who played the same #'s for 25 years & won $14 million would disagree

NO to birthdays and anniversaries and important dates I bet Jim McCullar would disagree “Carolyn and I used to play our birthdays so we did and here we are!”

I passed that 7-Eleven the other day, but it was too late to buy a ticket.  I really do not have any luck. I swear I never win any huge cash prizes on anything. No Pity!

Wow! from a vending machine? I will be sitting on the sidelines for several draws, hopefully the PB will go over 100mil by then. I had my 3 year old son pick numbers on a $5 ticket and that produced a $10 winner...woohoo! perhaps my son has been the missing link all this time, but to be fair I also spent a total of $20 which is beyond the usual $2-3 QP wager.

I'm happy someone won from a 7eleven, I have a little hope, the only place you can buy tickets around here is from 7eleven.

I have seen lottery vending machines in gas stations but I never realized that they sell MM or PB tickets. Just thought it was all scratch-offs which I have never played.

So the 3 jackpot winners last night, none of them were QPs?

The person holding the winning Maryland ticket purchased it at 7:15 pm Friday night, buying just one quick pick ticket.

The Illinois winning ticket was sold at the Red Bud Motomart on South Main Street in Red Bud.  It was a quick pick.

The location of the store selling the winning ticket in Kansas has not yet been released, but the Kansas Lottery indicated that the winning ticket was sold in the northeast region.

Guess mathematicians don't give good advice. But for lower prizes I have won all my larger amounts picking my own numbers and playing one ticket. But for the bigger  games it does not seem to matter after using my own systems for many years. My numbers have all come closer and were within 1 and two numbers, but I think I won more back from QP's. But with PB and MB that is never much anyway. My systems worked better for the smaller prize games. But there is still time...
