The final claim date is quickly approaching for the owner of a $250,000 second-tier Mega Millions ticket purched in Maryland at the end of March.
The ticket must be claimed by Friday, September 28, 2012 at 4:30 pm.
The winning ticket was from the $656 million Mega Millions drawing on Friday, Match 30, 2012, and was purchased at 7-11, located at 9709 Beaver Dam Road in Timonium.
The winning numbers for the March 30 Mega Millions drawing were 2, 4, 23, 38, and 46, with Mega Ball number 23. The unclaimed $250,000 winning ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Mega Ball number.
If the $250,000 winning ticket is not redeemed by next Friday, it becomes a worthless piece of paper.
Somebody in Maryland better WAKE UP!!!
You got 1 week to cash a $250,000 check!!!
Check your pockets, desk drawers, check your purse, husbands
check your wife purse, wives check your husbands wallet, look
behind your ears!!!
Dang I wish they had lottery ticket sniffing dogs!!!
This is crazy to me. If you're going to the trouble of buying a ticket to win the lottery, how do you just misplace your tickets before verifying them???
It was probably a ticket bought while passing through. Thrown in the glove box. Thrown away when cleaning out the glove box.
I'm hoping that the owner cashes on time or the ticket is never found and the owner never knows they won because it would hurt hurt hurt
That would be a major bummer for life.
Probably was won by someone who so disappointed at coming so close to winning the largest jackpot ever that they weren't interested in collecting a mere $250K.
Can you blame them? I would be ashamed and humiliated to come so close. Better to just let that $250K roll back into the next jackpot.
Not much you can do with that chump change nowadays anyways.
It happens when someone frequently buys tickets and cant keep them sorted out. lol. lol.
Or the car was wrecked and sits permanently in the wrecking yard. Talk about bad luck???
Was thinking about the thread 4 hrs. ago when I was digging through my garage trashbag looking for a receipt,
the receipt you need is always the one you can't find,
now is there a way to turn that into a winning formula ?
I throw receipts away all the time so finding one I need is like winning the lottery. lol. lol.
Thats kinda like what i was getting at,
the elusive ticket, is like the
elusive receipt, the one you're looking for.
Ashamed and humiliated to win $250,000??
$250,000 chump change??
GREED is an ugly thing!!!
I bet it was the lady who said she had the winning ticket...those McDonald's managers and employees might want to scour the restaurant she used to work! LOL
