I am guessing the title should read "$250,000 Mega Millions ticket SOLD in Maryland expires next week"...now that is solid!

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

Nikki you have a very poor sense of humor. You need to get out more often, lighten up and let loose once in a while. Are you always so serious?  Crying

Wow!! So that winning ticket wasn't sold after all. Nice catch OSP.

Then what's all this fuss about?  Angry

There is no expiration on a solid ticket, that I'm aware of.   No Nod  That's great news for the lucky ticket holder!

This is crazy to me.  If you're going to the trouble of buying a ticket to win the lottery, how do you just misplace your tickets before verifying them???  Bang Head

The owner of the winning ticket may have used one of those self checking machines that sometimes tell you that your ticket is NOT a winner.I think that the lottery's make a lot of extra money with those machines.

This happens a lot of time.  Maybe the holder of this ticket forgot to check the winning numbers.  I just hope that he/she would be able to get the prize before its to late.

To the person who win on this Mega Ball Ticket just about 7 month ago, go back to the purse , the wallet, the drawer , over the sunviser in your car, ect. It is time to backtrace. It would be ashame for the Maryland Lottery to get this money back.

Yes, they put it back in the pool. But I'm not sure it the entire amount . I think it just a percentage of the win money.

Looks like the "solid" MM's ticket was myseriously transformed back to a "sold"  ticket.   Eek

Must have been a bad dream, all is good now.

OldSchoolPa noticed the word solid earlier this morning, and the word suddenly and without warning, re-transmigrated itself back to sold.

Simply amazing how that works! They say God works in mysterious ways........and now I'm a firm believer.  Yes Nod

But of course, only the best that money can buy. 20/20, Mad Dog, Thunderbird and Boone's Farm come to mind as some of the classics I have

sampled as a young lad. As a fine connoisseur of wine yourself, I'm sure you can immediately appreciate these world class vintages.

Can always spot those MD men out of a crowd. They are the classiest, most savvy gentlemen on the planet.   Wink
