    fox news is given credit at the bottom of the article.

    the original story is right here: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/05/single-mother-simple-error-earns-her-14-million-lottery-prize/

    They were paraphrasing from the CALottery website here http://www.calottery.com/media/press-releases/press-release?Item={7CF5CA90-2039-4B21-B058-C18053FB2E28}

    "Le and a friend usually go together and buy their Lottery tickets at the same time, but yesterday, Le went by herself to purchase her usual $4 worth of POWERBALL® and $1 in SuperLotto Plus from her local CVS Pharmacy."

    If you would spend as much time using your brain as you do drinking the MSM kool-aid and dissing fox news, you might come off as slightly more than the typical LIV.

    Can't you just be happy for this lucky woman? Do you have to make it a negative?

      mainstream media kool-aid? Give me a break. I don't blindly follow any news service. I look at the facts regardless of who published it and I ask myself is it accurate? If they published it, they are responsible for the information and fact checking. If someone told me Abraham Lincoln was the first president of the United States and I decide not to check the facts and as a journalist I write a news story about how Abraham Lincoln was the first president of the United States and someone called me out on it, then I am responsible and I will admit I was wrong. I can't say well I was just paraphrasing from what someone else told me.

      "Can't you just be happy for this lucky woman? Do you have to make it a negative?"

      How is being critical of a news story and being happy for the winner of the lottery two mutually exclusive things? It's not like flipping a coin where the outcome must be one or the other. Can you even conceive in your mind that someone can be critical of the accuracy in a news story and also being happy for the winner? Ohh that's right in your mind it must be one or the other. I must either blindly follow and worship at the altar of fox news or that must mean I'm envious and spiteful of the lottery winner. Perfect reasoning. Puke

          She's destined to be a lottery winner. Indeed lottery is also a game of chance. Who would tell that her simple error will become her key to win the lotto?

                        She is going to "visit" her parents in Vietnam? She ought to MOVE them OUT of Vietnam, to someplace like, oh, that won't get blown up!

                             Vietnam is one of the most rapidly growing nations in the world, economically speaking. Yeah, still if I were here at least I would try. But life is whole lot simpler over there and people do have different tastes.

                             The only threat Vietnam is facing is China. And they have been successfully defeating china many times.
