Wait a minute. You mean your hubby doesn't do either one of those things?

I went wrong somewhere. Mama folds the laundry but I have to balance the checkbook.

A Thirty dollar scatch off is out of my league. It obviously will appeal to the well heeled gambler.

$10, $20, and $30 is a little steep for scratchers, but it's amazing that players who wouldn't touch them will glady spend more that that $1 at a time.

                  What?

Why not play them and scratch just a few things on the ticket a day?

Or are scratchers really for thos with Type A personalities who can't even wait for a drawing and want to know if they won RIGHT NOW?

                  Wink

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                  Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

You may have touched on something there, CT.

Maybe people who play those tickets are premature escratchulators who don't believe in 4play.

this clown miller is proud of the fact that they have eschewed 1 billion dollars in each of the last 2 years from their sales. good luck pa residents trying to beat those odds. boycott.

That is the first time I have seen two posts in a row using the word "eschew."

What are the odds of that?

I guess I'll have to determine how many words there are in the English language first.

I'll get back to you on that.

You touched on another reason I don't play scratchers. If I drop $20 or $30 on one ticket, it blows my budget for the whole week. Plus check out the odds on them. Not so great. The one thing about scratchers is that you know at some point the top prize tics are somewhere once they release them. But trying to find one of the 8 or 10 top prizes out of 10 or 20 million tickets is not too enticing for me.
