Quitting my job if I won the lottery would depend on the prize amount.

$1 million before taxes and my answer would be a resounding no but $10 million would persuade me to turn in my resignation.

    It would depend on how much I won.  If I were to win Powerball or Mega Millions most definitely.  If I were to win one of the other games in NY, like Take 5, Cash for Life, Pick 10 probably not.  But all my debts would be paid off.  If I won NY Lotto again it would depend on how much I won.

      I would definitely quit my current job, but I wouldn't stop working.  I would finally be able to work in a position makes me happy and has flexibility.  I would work at an organization that helps people in need, rather than a place where you have to suck up to get an inch ahead.

        How could you seat there in your work station taking b.s.orders from your moody boss when you know you don't have to? People who say they'd keep working as employees sure got jokes

        So true!  I would be doing good not to flip both my bosses off before getting out of that place.  Oh and  a few co-workers would get the finger too!

          If how many jackpot winners chose "Cash" over "Annuity" is an indication, the majority probably did quit their jobs.

              Wow, interesting stats. Just about everybody chooses the cash.  I know I would.  And quit my job.

                  Find a job you like and you add five days to every week.

                        Find the job you like. Check.  Taking selfies at a table stacked couple feet high with Benjamins.  :)  Admit it, you know you dream of that every single night.  Your other side; your wild side...

                          Once i get the check, see ya. There's plenty to keep me busy.

                          I Agree!   Especially if it is one of the larger Powerball or Megaball Jackpots.  After coming back down to Earth-calming down-would maybe give notice.

                            Would I quit ?????.................WELL, I think the scenario would go a little bit like this..Say nothing to nobody......Depending on the size of the jackpot of course..$10 million and under...I get it myself...

                            $11 million and up:

                            Contact the proper Atty and financial team..change cell phone number and get a "burner" phone...Set up a trust....have another place for temporary housing to move to...Change email account..Slowly take my things home from work that are in the office over the next week or 2....Have the atty as a trustee to collect the money, no pictures, public statement would be from the Atty.(nothing about me personally at all)

                            Once the money hit the account, I drive to work on a Saturday, drop off all the company stuff and leave a note on my bosses desk...going something like this;

                            Kindly accept the following as a sign of my future employment with this company. Attached are a list of my favorite movies and songs or statements for you to ponder over :
