She's a short sighted Hood Rat who will blow through this money fast! And when it's all said and done will probably put up a Gofundme account begging others to please help her and her kids! She didn't leave a baby in the car with the windows rolled up in the summer heat, did she?
That money's gone fo ever
United States Member #141030 April 2, 2013 1481 Posts Offline | He wasn't given a $6 million bond because of Marijuana possession. The fact that he broke his curfew in agreement with his pre-trial release stemming from the article below, the marijuana in the house, the fact that he's a felon with possession of a firearm, is what got him the $6 million bond. This from Feb 28th 2015. BRUNSWIICK COUNTY | Bail set at $3 million wasn't enough to keep a Shallotte man charged in a major drug bust in jail. Lamar McDow left the Brunswick County Jail Friday after posting bail, said Emily Flax, spokeswoman for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. While bail bondsmen routinely require only a percentage of the total bond to post bail, that percentage still would be sizable with bail sent at $3 million. McDow was arrested Nov. 14 and charged with several drug offenses, some of which stemmed from a seizure last summer of more than 8,000 bags of heroin. McDow was charged with conspiring to traffic heroin; two counts of trafficking heroin; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; and a second charge of conspiring to traffic heroin that stemmed from the drug seizure, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. McDow is a gang member who had been involved in large-scale drug activity in Brunswick County, the sheriff's office said at the time he was arrested. McDow's arrest and that of two others came after a yearlong investigation based on community complaints and tips, the sheriff's office said. I hope she is not involved in funding this drug operation. If she is, she will definitely lose her kids and her blackass will be incarcerated for a long, long time. Granted she needs new friends and obviously needs to kick the current boyfriend to the curb. But she was arrested on a marijuana possession charge that is a misdemeanor at the most. Do you really think she is the only lottery winner that has smoked a little weed?

I know some of the comments are on the tough side,so-to-speak. I get the "weed is a misdemeanor thing". I just think most folks on this site are very appreciative of what a jackpot win would do for our family if one of us won it. People tend to speak their minds on negative issues(like what Ms. Holmes is recently accused of). A significant amount of the avid players on this site see what she is exposing her children to and how she is just being stupid/reckless with such a phenomenal (lottery jackpot) gift. It is their opinion to speak their piece and post what they want, just as it is yours or mine. Do I think she's the only winner to smoke a little weed ?? probably not.... Do I think she shows role model characteristics and good moralistic judgement for her children ??? Not one single bit !!! Anyone who would put themselves in this situation after winning 10's of millions of dollars really has no clue of what it means to be responsible for family/lifestyle choices/money. Furthermore, she doesn't show any signs of wanting to improve by this recent incident. Does it upset me that she's doing this to her kids/herself ? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE(not my outhouse, not my job to clean it), just makes me appreciate my choices in life a little more.... I only wish I was the lucky one that held that ticket instead of her, that's all. I hope that one of the LPer's hold a jackpot ticket soon and willingly gives us all an education on "how to handle the sudden wealth".
May the winning numbers be on your next lottery ticket !!!! Integrity: There is just no substitute.

Texas United States Member #55887 October 23, 2007 10729 Posts Offline | No, I did not miss it. And $6,000,000 bail is still absurd. Well, let's review. 1000 bags of heroin. Convicted felon. Convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Smoking weed in a house full of children. Drug dealer. For an idiot like that, the bail can't be high enough. He's a flight risk. CAN'T WIN IF YOU'RE NOT IN A DOLLAR AND A DREAM (OR $2)

| Like I said, even though she is a fool she has no worries because she's a winner. She can go buy more tickets at anytime and win at will. | | |

R-i-i-i-ight Murder suspects, in some cases multiple, are typically held for less bail $$$ than that. Google it (and then review).
Nothing mentioned here remotely approaches that. The dollar amount in this case simply reflects the ability of the rich girlfriend to pay, should she choose (again) to.
Wisconsin United States Member #123286 February 17, 2012 4236 Posts Offline | wow thats some pretty harsh judging your doing there. just because u get a little money dont mean u aint human and make bad choices and decisions.. I dont understand why she had to be a hoodrat You can't positively impact people who are beyond repair. We have too many with savior-complexes (captain-save-a ho) trying to "redeem" people who are HAPPY being LOSERS. Being a hoodrat is a lifestyle, money doesn't change anything. Now she is a rich hoodrat. Stop trying to convince someone who has ACCEPTED that lifestyle that they should "change".
She's exactly where she wants to be! Not hard to find the folks who were raised by hoodrats. They are always defending these degenerates. Guess they're holding out hope someone will swoop in and save them too
New Jersey United States Member #80352 September 25, 2009 723 Posts Offline | Music* Thanks for really great references. First time hearing of CDARS for $50M protection and Susan Bradley's book Sudden Money. Sounds like required reading for all big time lottery wins.

Susan Bradley's ,Sudden Money is just an introduction to many ways a person can come into unexpected wealth. Like Inheritance, Divorce, Money won in a court case, winning the LOTTERY. The book is not a replacement for a live CFP ,Certified Financial Planner. There are so many wealth managers, advisers, counselors. Mental health therapists. I will pay good money for answers that they are willing to sell.

She gave him only a $1,000. She has not taken care of any of her family members. Its sad. This is why she's having such bad luck.
