I wouldn't doubt a lot of money is lost when some one walks into a store and asks a clerk to "check these for me".

The player should always know how much they won, and TELL, not ask, the clerk how much the winnings are before handing them the tickets.

There's a detailed and interesting forum topic on this subject titled "watch out for NYS retailers Some are scamming you big time".

It gives an example of a place where they try to perceive who will know how much they're owed and who can be taken advantage of. It also says that at that particular place the clerk or owner, whoever is doing it, will have non-winning tickets under the counter to quickly swap them.

Word is, Louisiana is running last in just about everything, and just voted in an Incumbent Democratic Governor.

What is it Forest Gump use to say, "Stupid is, Stupid does."   It was however a close race so there is still hope.

These three casinos complexes will be selling Mississippi Lottery tickets:

       Riverwalk Casino Hotel in Vicksburg

Treasure Bay Casino Hotel in Biloxi

Scarlet Pearl Resort in D'Iberville by Biloxi

All number sets are contenders until the drawing occurs.
