Vacation mindset is actually the "grindset"

LANSING, Mich. — Make no mistake — an accident on part of a Michigan man who didn't mean to buy two Fantasy 5 lottery tickets seriously benefited from the blunder after it won him two $110,000 prizes.
It was nothing but good times for one Michigan vacationer who mistakenly bought two identical Fantasy 5 tickets and happened to win twice.
Paul Pattwell of Pinckney was already in a happy state of mind while on vacation in Northern Michigan. He's a daily lottery player though, and it didn't stop him from getting his usual plays in.
He visited Krist Food Mart on US Highway 31 North in Charlevoix to play his own numbers in the June 15 Fantasy 5 drawing: 3, 8, 10, 14, and 20.
"I've been playing the same sets of Fantasy 5 numbers for years, and I play them every day," Pattwell told the Michigan Lottery. "My wife and I were on a camping trip Up North, and I couldn't remember if I had bought my Fantasy 5 ticket, so I stopped at the store and bought one."
The second store he visited to play the same numbers was Toski Sands Party Store on M 199 in Petoskey.
"A few days after we got home from vacation, I pulled out over a week's worth of tickets and started checking them," the winner continued. "I recognized the June 15 Double Play winning numbers right away and was thrilled that I'd won $110,000! I called my wife and told her the big news."
Pattwell matched all five of his numbers to the drawn ones in the June 15 Double Play drawing, a separate drawing that players can enter using the same set of numbers for an extra dollar in Fantasy 5. Matching all five awards the $110,000 top prize.
"After I got off the phone with my wife, I started checking the rest of my tickets, which is when I realized I had two tickets for the same drawing and won another $110,000 prize," the 68-year-old explained. "I called my wife again and said, 'You're not going to believe this, but I won a second $110,000 prize!' I couldn't believe it."
He visited Lottery headquarters in Lansing recently to claim his prize, which he plans on using to buy a new truck and spoil his grandchildren. He'll save whatever is left over.
Players may add the EZmatch feature to their ticket for an additional $1 per play for a chance to win up to $500 or the Double Play feature for a second chance to win up to $110,000 in the nightly Double Play drawing. Players may win prizes in the regular nightly drawing, the Double Play drawing, or both. Fantasy 5 drawings take place every day at 7:29 p.m. Eastern Time.

At 68 years, that's a good plan, got to spend some money and make memories while still strong.
I think maybe the winner should retire that set of numbers and come up with a new set, but again, who knows, lightning ⚡ may strike twice at the same spot.

You can claim anonymous for state games in Michigan and he didn't do that. To each their own I guess.......
I'm not sure about Michigan but if you did that in FL you would only be splitting the jackpot with yourself.
