Winner plans on spending way more time in Michigan after winning there

WHITEHALL, Mich. — If he wasn't convinced to make the move already, he is now. A Florida man is Michigan-bound after winning a $358,104 Fantasy 5 jackpot in the state's lottery.
The choice to spend much more time in Michigan is going to be even more appealing for one Florida man ever since he won a $358,104 Fantasy 5 lottery jackpot.
The anonymous 75-year-old usually visits Michigan to see family and will play the lottery while he's there, except this time, he and his wife headed back home with heavier pockets.
"My wife and I come to Michigan a lot because it's where our family is, so whenever we are here, I pick back up playing my Fantasy 5 numbers," the player explained to the Michigan Lottery.
He picked up a ticket for his favorite game at the Wesco gas station on Colby Road in Whitehall. He selected his usual numbers 3, 12, 17, 23, and 27 for the June 24 drawing.
"After the drawing that night, I checked my ticket by scanning it on the Michigan Lottery app," he recalled in a press release. "When I saw how much I'd won, I yelled to my wife: 'We just won the lottery!' and we both started to cry. We were up the rest of the night because we were both too excited to sleep."
He brought his lucky ticket into Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim his winnings, which he said he'll use to buy a house in Michigan and pay bills.
"Winning is life changing," the Florida resident added. "This money will allow us to move closer to family and become debt-free."
Players may add the EZmatch feature to their ticket for an additional $1 per play for a chance to win up to $500 or the Double Play feature for a second chance to win up to $110,000 in the nightly Double Play drawing. Players may win prizes in the regular nightly drawing, the Double Play drawing, or both. Fantasy 5 drawings take place every day at 7:29 p.m. Eastern Time.

This is so crazy lol what are the odds of this story being posted hours after I decided to start trying consecutive draws in Fantasy 5. This man won with consecutive draws playing the same numbers. I also talked about hearing winner stories where people keep playing the same numbers for years. Is this the universe talking to me?
Super congrats to him. When I met a Fantasy 5 winner the other day she told me that just like him she wasn't able to sleep either when she won. She just kept looking at the computer screen in shock and disbelief.
Michigan's F5 is much juicier than FL. I like their rolling system with a starting jackpot and they have double play for 100K that is so cool. FL needs to step up their game especially since creating two draws made the jackpots shrink. FL's top prize is roughly the same as Michigan's starting prize.
It took him 75 years to win. He kept playing the same numbers and it finally paid off for him. These stories are inspiring. Play within your means and never give up.
I like his other combination, 1-2-3-8-11 which is pretty bold. All low numbers is a good tactic and adding a triple consecutive gives a high chance of being the only winner. In FL 1-3-6-7-15 played a few days ago.
