A cowboy named Bud.
A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in California when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced out of a dust cloud towards him. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan sunglasses and a YSL tie, leans out the window and asks the cowboy, 'If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?' Bud looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and c...

Pick 3 - Str
Been working on pick 3 straight system for all states, evening. I had to built a new system using the results and plug it into the new designed excel sheets. It is complex at the moment, and have a lot of steps using many sheets to get the numbers...but I've done the boring part, and it gave me these numbers to play. If you look at my previous blog post the expected hits met. With this system it will give t...

The KACHING Report 1/16
Saturday slow playing: $5 ($$$ $1 + $2) on $1 Triple Win 2 free tickets and $5 ( 5X $1) on 3 $1 5X The Money $2 (Bat $1) on $1 Spooky Loot 4 free tickets on some $1 Holiday Cash If you noticed....all winners came on the $1 tickets. That's because this slow playing session didn't last too long. I started with the $1 tickets and didn't even reach the $2 tickets (or the last $1 ticket they had) before I got a call telling m...

Got a pick 4 box hit today in GA eve! 0632 !! Wait, let me double check...yeah! It's 0632 . One of my number is 2306. I only played 4 set of numbers (1 set = 1234). Not sure why I went for this experiment but I did, and it paid to try something new. Here's what I did. I went to...

Microsoft: Next Windows won't be as annoying
The next version of Microsoft Windows, the software that defines the computing experience for most people, will nag users much less than its much-maligned predecessor, Vista. PC users will be able to begin testing the new edition early next year. (Msnbc is a joint Microsoft - NBC Universal venture.) The world's largest software maker also is making Word, Excel and other key elements of Office its flagship productivity programs able to run in a W...

toying with excel's TIMER in VBA
interesting little experiment, works just like VB6 in that a call to RND(-1) always starts you at the same place in the list, brings up some interesting questions... 1.) does their RNG continue along the same path (no RNG(-1) call)? 2.) does the date play a factor? RANDOMIZE(NOW()) vs. RANDOMIZE(TIMER) 3.) are they using hardware sources for entropy or does the state's choice of COBOL as a programming language play any type of contributing facto...

step 2 of CAD system... "data" entry
now that the grid is complete, time to add lines connecting the points that represent the drawn numbers. In order to make validation easier, the lines are alternately green and blue. I have about 80 in place, there are 300+, so it may take awhile. no text elements on the screen, just points inside squares... I can tell the number based on the X,Y value of the crosshairs... gotta love AutoCAD! the road ahead... 1. raw data gathering (angles, both ac...

what's next?
well, no more huge jackpot. perfect time to whip up another system and begin the long tedious task of coding and backtesting... if I only had a new direction... my criteria still remains the same... 1. no trapping (too expensive as a number selection technique), unless that trapping is further refined 2. no mixing matrices (5/55 is new but 1/42 is over 300 draws and still valid) 3. end result not to exceed one and only one pick (one $2 ticket, gotta pow...

My "one off" pick 3 method for pencil and paper.
Quite a number of years ago, after reading some of Gail Howard's writings somewhere I think, I started using 1/4 inch quadrille paper to keep my 6 digit lotto game stats on. It works great for developing hit and miss charts for each number in the game. You can X out a box for a hit and then start numbering after that from 1 to whatever until the next hit so you know how long each number has been without a hit., etc. This same paper can be us...
