How can past draws help predict the lottery?Reply
I think Pick 3 players are always going to lose more than they win. Almost every lottery player is going to lose more than the win, regardless of the game. The only exceptions are the lucky few who hit jackpots (assuming they are not players who spend millions on the lottery). That's how the games are designed. Otherwise the state would not profit.

But what if the state you purchased the winning ticket in had no state tax? You wouldn't have to pay anything. So I living in the USA live in a state with a state tax .... I take a ride to an adjoining state that has no state tax and am lucky enuff to buy the winning ticket to the big jackpot game. Now I know if I remain a resident of my home state I'll have to pay taxes on my winnings but what if I pick up and move to the no tax adjoining state before I claim my prize?

That is interesting. Most pro athletes don't have log careers, so they need to save. My mother had a neighbor who played for the local NFL team and his mother was helping him manage his money. He got a monthly $4k allowance and the rest was saved and invested. He was lucky to have someone he could trust helping him. Many so called advisors may not be trustworthy, so one must be careful.

As lottery games go, for ticket price and a chance to win a nice prize IMO pick 4 is probably the best game. MM and PB raised the possible outcomes to over 292 million and doubled their ticket price because it was obvious players wanted bigger jackpots. Now with very few jackpot winners, the players are waiting for bigger jackpots. After all the hype, one ticket wins a billion and the rest of us are lucky if we collect 4 bucks.

The later. I can soft just fine using text filtering, then write down numbers, and do an extract of the new t row of data .or just rerun those rows and do a custom format to highlight duplicate values or do a removal of symbols to help flag groupings by type, then play permutations of them. Or maybe I get lucky and hit Powerball today with my best statistical guess based on previous history...then I give up on gambling for good and go fishing..
