Money and HappinessReply
Like some here said, money can buy freedom which can lead to happiness, that's the way I see it. If I were to win tomorrow night's powerball $47 million, I'd retire at 35 and never have to worry about a boss, or bills again. I wouldn't even need to go buy a massive house, a Corvette, and take a trip to Hawaii, those things alone I stated before alone would thrill me!

if there is such a Rapture, New Zealand will know about it 14 hours before anyone in the United States east coast. Since May 21, 2011 will happen in New Zealand 14 hours in advance of the United States east coast. 14 hours would then be more than enough time for someone in the east coast time zone to drive over to the local church/temple/synagogue, pay lip service to who ever runs the place and get into heaven. If you live in Hawaii you have even more time.

If this was a truly national thing (Nevada, Hawaii, Utah, etc...included) another prop bet could be betting on what state would win it - in accordance with population. In other words, North Dakota winning, for example, would pay more than a win in NY or Calif. Just stuf to make it interesting and the player get an occassional bone.

Your First Vacation?Reply
Typical, usual, mundane, boring, cliche, or whatever you want to call it, we're going to Hawaii. I've been there 3 times, have seen Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island, and I'd like to go back to Oahu and see some of the other islands. It would be my wife's first time there. Then we're going to spend some time with her family in Shanghai. By time, I mean weeks. While there we'll probably spend a few days in Hangzhou, which is a couple of hours outside of Shanghai.

Playing the lottery should primarily be about fun! Obviously the Big Prize or even a little one is an enticement but the whole point is to DREAM! I get my dollars worth during the couple of days leading up to the Jackpot just DREAMING about what I would do and where I would go with all that money. LOL! I used Hawaii because the other two warm weather non lottery choices are Mississippi and Alabama. It gets pretty cold in North Dakota and in the Summer time too.

I would go to Florida, spend a month at Disney World. (My kids would love me!) Disney's also opening up a new hotel in Hawaii, that would be a must. I would cruise, Disney also. (see a theme here?) I've always wanted to visit Seattle and Salt Lake City, for some reason. If I had the time and money, I would do those as well.
