As a Lottery JP winner: Would you " help" your city out if they were on the verge of bankruptcy?
Great post CdanaT! However your logic will never win out over envy and theft in the hearts of man. Society is based off self interest. What people can't make they will vote to steal it. Then direct democracy society moves from gold coins silver coins as money to fiat paper money in order to steal through inflation. Then you have theft, debt, booms, busts, recessions, depressions, welfare, wars, death, rinse repeat. Dictatorships don't work for liberty but neither does the voters through dire

Then your bank card and then your master card. And on the third purchase find out that all your cards have stopped working. all your cards are in limbo so to speak. The lenders will

Who is Sam Bankman-Fried and Why Are The Fed's After Him?
Good points Stats... Could be SBF is trying to get a head start on influencing a jury. You're correct SBF has not been charged with any crime....not yet anyway. That said, The Fed's are looking at the whole mess, and my guess is they are proceeding slowly so as to be in a position to present a solid case to a US Attorney that the prosecutor believes there is enough evidence to present the case to a Federal Grand Jury for an indictment, and ultimately gain a conviction in a courtroom in

Who is Sam Bankman-Fried and Why Are The Fed's After Him?
It's the essence of a con game. Why is it called a con ? Because the guy who is a con artist is also known as a confidence man . The whole idea of any scam is for the criminal to gain the victims confidence so as to be able to steal their money. But SBF is not a Con Man. He's a thief. He took his clients money out of their accounts without their knowledge and invested it in some highly risky investments that failed. (by the way the money for those risky investments was not used to purc

Would you claim your Jackpot winnings through a Trust or Not?
Maybe the best thing to do is wait around 3-4 months to claim your winnings. There is nothing wrong with setting up a Trust. But be very careful as to who you put in charge of that Trust as there are cases of theft involved.
