Curious about Quick Picks
If I got this right, the code on all lottery tickets scratch - off is the 3 letter found in the winning area on all ticket. the letters on this ticket is [hun], or [hon] this is a hundred winning ticket. That what the retailer is reading, you such too. They're just running it through the ticket machine to see if it a true winner and have not been altered or tamper with in any way.

powerball quick pick
Actually all it took on the last big rig was a little white paint and a couple people knowing which balls they were placed on. plus a bonus would be access to the ticket machine where you could actually punch in the numbers and it still would come out as a fixed quick pick ticket.

Cards For Quick Picks
i most always fill out a bet slip to play a quick pick, to me it offers less of a chance to get the wrong ticket. i find a lot of the clerks dont seem comfortable with the lottery ticket machine.

Buying Quick Picks

When You Check Your Ticket Do You Ever...
This question is to everyone who scan their lottery tickets. When you scan your ticket to check for a winner do you ever take the time to compare it to a printed results slip also? I ask this question because I've noticed that a lot of people rely on the accuracy of the scanner being right. There have been times when I've scanned a winning ticket and had the scanner and the ticket machine say my ticket was not a winner when in reality my ticket was a winner. It was when the ticket wa

My Made-Up State's Lottery
Thanks for all the nice comments. I don't know if I'd like to actually work for a lottery, then I couldn't play. But anyway, here's another game description. What's your fantasy? A Bentley? A trip around the world? A house? Fantasy 5 can make that happen. Jackpots start at $200,000, and have reached almost $2 million. No other pick 5 game in the country comes close. And the lower tier payouts are also good. So Fantasy 5 isn't just big, it's Ginormus(R)!Just pick 5 numbers from 49, or have the Dre

California Raffle Drawings
Lots of people have been e-mailing me about the California raffle tickets that are being sold to them every time they buy a SuperLotto Plus ticket. Apparently, the California Lottery held the first raffle drawing on Sunday (and will continue holding a raffle drawing every Sunday until June 16th), but they have not posted the winning numbers anywhere. In fact, I contacted the California Lottery today, and they confirmed that the results will not be posted on their site until Wednesday, so t
