Warning about PA Self-Service Machines
My Dear Cash, You're confused. There was never a boycott of Lucky for Life. Only you, my dear. Only you. As for the Delaware slots, I tend to avoid those places like the plague. They are full of mostly seniors blowing their social security and pension checks. Also, the security tends to be quite lax, and there are regular muggings in the parking lots. Delaware Park particularly seems to have a lot of problems in this area. Delaware Park also recently had an incident where the police evacua

If I win, am I allowed to remain anonymous?
If I win, am I allowed to remain anonymous? Yes, Delaware State law allows all Delaware Lottery winners to remain anonymous. http://www.delottery.com/faqs.html#19 Do you offer Lottery subscriptions? At this time, the Delaware Lottery does not offer this service. http://www.delottery.com/faqs.html#13 This is great news, anonymity should be an automatic right for every lottery winner. Unfortunately, question 13 is a disappointment. Eventuality, a state lottery will marry the two concept

Heat/sun damaged tickets.
In another topic, can't remember which one, someone mentioned tickets that were damaged by the heat when left in the car. I took 1 from Jersey and 1 from Delaware and placed them on the dash, 4 days later the Delaware ticket is mostly unreadable. The Jersey ticket is OK. Always thought Jersey tix were thermal paper, now, not so sure.

States that offer winners the choice of anonymity
Delaware is a 90 minutes from me, Maryland add 10 minutes, since I'm going for PB and MM there's no reason to go past Delaware. Does Maryland have any local games that are good ?

Why Americans Will Quit ( Gambling ) Playing The Lottery?
Americans can now gamble using their phones, but there are now less places to gamble online than there were in 2006 because of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Internet banking is nothing new and ATMs were probably a very large factor in casino resort area growth. Net banks were created so people could transfer and deposit funds to gamble with. I personally knew several people who could play online Bingo 24/7 for a nickel a card before 2006. If anything, U.S. online poker is st

For those who wish to claim anonymously...
Does Delaware still have the same concept of anonymous? Do a search here on LP too see some of the anonymous people claiming prizes. Within the last couple of years a woman pharmacist in Illinois won the Mega Millions. She appeared at the press conference in disguise. She hired professional theater people to disguise her and explained that as a pharmacist if word got out she had owwn millions she'd be sued left and right by various people claiming malpractice. Her disguise certainly

Protection after a huge jackpot lottery win
No. Oklahoma and Delaware for sure also. Somewhere in the News forum there's pictures of Delaware winners holding big cardboard circles in front of their face (Delaware's answer to anonymous I guess. There's also a post in the News from sometime last year when a couple in Oklahoma won and just made a statement to the press that they wished to remain anonymous, let people know jackpots can be won, and to play but make sure they played responsibly.

Time to complain to the Delaware Lottery
Keep in mind that a year or two ago a couple of representatives in the Delaware legislature wrote a bill that would return the state to true drawings. If you search further back in the news section here at Lottery Post you will find a few stories about it. I was in contact with the legislators myself. Bottom line is Lemon from the Delaware Lottery was opposed to it, and the bill didn't even make it to the debate stage. With the massive importance of the Lottery's revenue to the states, t
