Delaware, North Dakota and Kansas also allow players to remain anonymous. As well, Oklahoma allows you to claim in a trust.

Incidents like the one being described in Texas in this thread are the reason when a state gets a lottery they should srtaff the commission with lottery people, not good ole boys who have connections and no experience. The Delaware short-lived legalized sports betting in the 1980s comes to mind. They actually had office people making up pintspreads instead of seeing what the real ones were. Word got out that they had false favorites in games and people from Vegas flew to Delaware and clobbere

at buying tickets in Delaware for the anonymity. I won some airline tickets once, and I seriously considered using them to fly to Delaware to buy Powerballs. Yes, Powerball is available in my state, but anonymity isn't. BTW, I did talk myself out of that foolishness. Instead I sold the tickets for a few hundred bucks and bought a couple extra PBs at home.

That's not entirely true. I had a friend win $10,000 before, and he is not an insider by any stretch of the imagination. People do actually win the Delaware Lottery, but the prizes are low and the odds are high. That said, as I've stated before on this forum, the only tickets I will buy in Delaware are Powerball tickets. The anonymous winners deal would be great for a Powerball jackpot winner. I won't waste my money on the in-state lotto game, scratch offs, or the slots.
