getting back to an old topic RNG controlled
Since Delaware started RNG drawings in 1994 or 1996, not sure exactly when now, I have requested a viewing of the process on at least 3 occasions. (That fact of when they started computer draws seems to have been eliminated from Goggle search, as trying to find any newspaper articles or any info at Delaware Lottery itself (their time line of events doesn't list it), can't be found. They seem to have managed to control any search regarding it.) On my first visit there, probably a couple of years

lottery tickets
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on February 03, 2004 Speaking of driving for tickets, I wonder what happened to the sales in Delaware when Pennsylvannia signed on to Powerball? I'm betting that South Carolina would hate it if North Carolina started a lottery.Good question. It didn't take long for the Philly Daily news to run the story quoting the Delaware officials complaining. Delaware never did make enough on tickets when Md. and Pa. started in the 70's; their scratch games pay little f

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
I was in Delaware for the 4th of July. I saw a billboard there that says the Delaware lottery offers anonymity protection. Good to know because I really don't want the general public to know of my winnings. And yes, I'm well aware that Delaware is pretty far away from Michigan.

New Delaware Promotion
Yes, the Delaware raffle to win $250,000 is a pretty good bet compared to the Powerball odds to win $200,000 at apprx 1 in 3.5 milllion. And of course there are 5- $25,000 prizes and 200 or so $500 prizes. Delaware lottery got burned pretty good today in the mid day draw when they had to pay out about $62,000 on the pick 3 number 510 and $228,000 on the 4 digit number 1231. This may not sound like much to the folks living in the big states like PA, etc., but Delaware has a cutoff on their numb

New Delaware Promotion
Delaware's Raffle is a very good deal if they don't sell 34,000 tickets in the next 13 days. I wouldn't anticipate it happening. I doubt Delaware will do another raffle, but then again, nothing surprises me with this state lottery. It's too bad Delaware Lottery is so messed up because Delaware really is a nice place to live and it is actually contrary to most state operations, which are generally (but not 100%) responsive to the public. I speak from experiences I've had dealing with major iss

Which game is better to play?
Probably the raffle. Delaware will keep pushing MWL. Retailers I talk to say they sell very few tickets, which is noted by the lack of winners. Delaware really is too small for having it's own Pick 6, especially given that no one trusts the lottery. Bringing in Hot Lotto or even joining VA's multi-state Win for Life (despite your thoughts of the game) would fare much better than the current game. I would love to see Delaware bring in a game similar to Florida's Fantasy 5 (ball drawn preferred),
