Kansas Lottery adds 'Hot Lotto' game
Hot Lotto drawing results are generated by a computer using a Random Number Generator (RNG). That should bring out the trolls. I also curious how many people would hate computerized drawings, until they won. Too me it does not matter how I get there, a jackpot win is a jackpot win. I just happen not to play any RNG games as of now. I did try the day draws a few times, and actually hit boxed. No complaints so as long as I am winning.

Casino coupon error gives 11,000 people $525
Roughly 11,000 patrons of Harrah's Joliet Casino in Illinois got a big surprise in the mail last week: a coupon good for $525 in wagering. But casino officials were surprised more than anyone else. The casino's direct-marketing vendor mistakenly made the coupons for an amount much higher than the usual $15 to $20 that was intended to be the value, Harrah's said. The company will honor the coupons, which were sent out last week, said Harrah's Illinois regional president Joe Domenico. The announcemen

Oregon Powerball winners deny making demands for interviews
If that's the case I'd tell the lottery flack to tell them all to have the cameras rolling as the time in the conference room will be very brief. I'd walk into the conference room wearing a ball cap and shades and say the following I exist and I'm a live person and goodbye that is the extant of this conference . I'd then leave the room and basically tell the lottery press flack to stuff it! I have made an announcement and had my required conference. As much as this behavior would frowned upon b

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
I understand your recent series of complaints about this, but that's been a fact about how jackpots are measured for many years now.Your argument is like saying that when someone who makes $100,000 in their job goes to apply for a mortgage, they should not be allowed to tell the bank that they make $100,000, because the government takes out 32% in taxes, plus the state takes another 7%.Oh, and then they decide to have deductions for medical insurance and a 401K plan, another $300 per month, so t

$93.4 million Powerball lottery winner is New Mexico's third
Thanks Mike. So was I hoping it until I saw the results. I had 20 tickets with 13 numbers spread out among them, unwheeled. Those tickets had four of the six numbers that hit, provided you allow me to count the 2, which I had down as a white ball, not as the red it passed itself off as.I thought it was a pretty nice set of numbers, that PB draw last night. No complaints from where I'm sitting. I hope that PA trucker, or RV jockey, or traveling minstrel, or tourist who won it has him/herself

Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
Not the issue. At least, not for me, and evidently not for CT decision makers. The issue is whether the States participating in an agreement with PB have right, reason, responsibility, to their citizenry to oversee changes PB (and MM) and be consulted prior to those changes, rather than being presented with fait accompli of this sort.Half the people who post on these threads have expressed a litany of complaints about the Texas Lottery folk and their unwillingness to consider user input. Here's

Texas Lottery changes won't come quickly
Personally, I have defended your right to say whatever you want on the forums, even though I get complaints on an almost daily basis about your 1- or 2-word attacks on the NY Lottery and stuff like Loser for Life that you post constantly. Some people wonder if you're just trying to boost the number of messages posted, and some think I'm nuts for allowing the stuff to be posted like a parrot out of control. Either way, it does not appear to be something that people are enjoying seeing, because

Ohio Lottery Posts Wrong Results on Official Web Site
I'm surprised that the Ohio Lottery would consider any disciplinary action against the two workers, unless they have had a lot of complaints about the mistake and have to pay out a large amount of money for both the mistake and the real number that was drawn. We have had several mistakes over the years here in Maryland. The Lottery commission paid out on the mistakes and the actual numbers that were pulled, but they never reported any disciplinary action. They just chalked it up as a mistake. And
