INTRODUCE YOURself / Q 'bout stand-alone software.
Ah HA! Got it! Thx, RJOh I've been trying to lean more on Excel... seems to be the only tool out there, designable. Right now, the COUNT and FREQUENCY functions are giving me fits. I'm attempting to take an array of dates and numbers and get results with frequency of numbers to dates - count the freq of numbers. Can't seem to get the onboard formulae to work - durned Help is limited. I'll have to take hat-in-hand and tack a thread on the Math Forum. I have found some software adverti

This shouldn't happen in Powerball..
I said this shouldn't happen in Powerball but in fact it shouldn't happen in any lotto... Guys, i am looking at all of Powerball draws from 2006 'til present and i see something that shouldn't happen....Let me first start buy saying that combinations in a pick6 or pick5 that start with 18 above are VERY RARE...They RARELY PLAY...I've looked at lots of history draws and I've never seen this types of combinations play one after the other, let alone 4...And i am looking at Powerball draws fro

The vastness of the odds for a jackpot win...
My statement was offhand and probably in error regarding PER WEEK 10-20. *Daily*, yes. However I stand by the basic premise. of investing your money. I thought your basic premise was comparing the huge odds against winning a lottery jackpot to investing the money you spent chasing it. I suppose it depends on how you define huge jackpot , but it in the last Mega Million run, it took 5 weeks before people began noticing there was a huge jackpot ($130 million). The jackpot tripled in size ($3

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
I use what is called a Poisson distribution, assuming that all purchases are effectively random. When the number of tickets purchased is very small compared to the odds, a Poisson distribution will give numbers that are close to the numbers obtained by dividing the number of tickets purchased by the probability. However as the number of tickets purchased increases, there is a greater probability that each new purchaser will purchase a ticket with a set of numbers that has been already purch

MO Pick-6 predictions
Hans I make the calculations needed so I can put into play the best sets possible. The stuff like the number of digits, etc are not a product of random but of the matrix it's self. Once I build the best sets possible then it's all left to chance. In another post I made the comment concerning my 5-39 game that if a person played sets with fewer then 5 or more than 6 digits then they have no chance of hitting a JP around 75% of the time. Most I think laughed until I proved it. Just

Megamillions and Powerball Games
Ever notice how jimbo runs back to pick-3 to prove his point even though no one but him has mentioned pick-3. The reason is that he knows that each position in a pick-3 or pick-4 single digit game has a equal number of digits that can show in each position. The JP games are a little different. The data below is for the digit 3 in my 5-39. We can see by the above calculator that digit 3 is best played as either the right-hand digit in position 1 or as the decade digit in the f

Power Ball settings and suggestions for Digit Master.
FD The RAC not reducing the sets as mentioned above is not caused by an error but a built in safeguard. In the first stage RAC has to make a bunch of calculations to determined if the sets are compatible with the mathematical formulas. If the sets do not contain this information then one of two things will happen. The first is that it will reduce to one line on the very first cycle which is below the threshold and this causes the program to abort and do nothing with the sets. The

Indiana Lottery (Hoosier Lotto)
I have said repeadedly that I do not have any factual proof the Hoosier Lottery is rigged. There are 2 instances of rigged games I can point to. 1. The William Foreman Scratch off scandal. Mr. Foreman...a Hoosier Lottery Security Official rigged a scratch off game. The Hoosir Lottery has admitted Mr. Foreman rigged the game. His accomplices have pled guilty in a plea bargain agreement. Mr. Foreman is out on bail awaiting trial but press reports indicate he will in all probability not be

A Question for EVERYONE
RJoh what do you mean natural selection? and what is coding? time*treat mentioned? I can predict at least 1-3 numbers every time, what shoud I do with it? the pattern never fails. If 24 25 showed in the 1st basket, sure enough 24 25 shows in the 2nd. Yet understand there are 49 numbers to select from, but the pattern stays perfect right on course. by the way one drawing occurs one night prior to the 2nd so you always know in advance the 6 numbers that have the most likelyhood of
