Ok. Here's the theory.You cannot see the phone cord connecting the terminal to the phone jack, which connects the terminal to the lottery network to enter in the ticket, but the machine independently generates quick picks, and independently prints the tickets. There is also a training mode for the terminal (at least in PA there is), which does not require connection to the computer system since it is training mode, and it will print out tickets in which the numbers are not entered into the state

Ran my playslip at CVS this morning and the lady behind the counter told me a funny story. Yesterday this guy brought a supercash playslip in, the lady ran it several times and nothing happened. It seems the guy has been running the same ticket for 7 years and it was in such bad shape the machine couldn't read it. LOL. Who runs the same playslip for 7 years? I fill out a new one every day.

yes you can do that, the online lotto machine at your retailer will automatically print you a ticket for the remaining play's. I've done that a couple of times. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Actually, players in Texas must specify cash or annuity at the time of ticket purchase. If they buy QP tickets from a vending machine I believe it's automatically cash option. I don't do that, I use playslips, and they have to be marked cash or annuity.

The Round-Town Quick Pick Game for MM and PB- would it work?
Here's a form of luck that I invented . Say you wanted to go around town to buy one ticket for each retailer (not all, but 5 max at least). Would you perhaps get a different combination for each one that is different with each machine which may get a better guessing retailer? Could this be, perhaps maybe a lucky way of winning?

I have made multiple attempts to buy one ticket with my own numbers since yesterday since it falls on halloween. Both stores said the machine was not working...in the morning. I went back in the early evening and same story. Tried again this morning and my betting slip would not work in the machine.

It's too bad neither Jersey or Maryland has the partial-QP feature like New York has. I've been using it a lot lately, but there's times when I don't. But, it can definitely burn you too. A guy from a butler service walks into a 7-11 or some c-store, or uses a vending machine to buy tics for a foreigner. Is the clerk going to ask who the ticket is for? Is the vending machine going to ask for id?

Yep. And up to 10 lines will print on a single ticket, if you're doing the auto-picks. (If you use the self-serve machine to auto pick 20 numbers, it will split onto 2 tickets of 10.)
