Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot looking good againReply
If I was in Ohio I would be playing Ohio Classic Lotto a lot because of the odds. I drove up to the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border to buy a hot lotto sizzler ticket because its at 14 mil at 1 in 11 mil odds for 3 plays 10 draws.

That's Unlucky for Life. It will be gone in December. Everybody hope the new game is all cash, or has a cash option. I'd like to see an annuitized game with a cash option (eg classic lotto ) or something like Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall.

My program does exactly the same you described. I play 4 numbers only because the odds are better. I find that if 1 comes then most of the time, the difference between the first and second, second and third and third and fourth number is 2;1;2 so based on the latest 3000 draws of massachusetts keno if 1 comes up then i figure 1 3 4 6 is the most propable combo of four numbers.

All GA, KY, and VA had to do is look at the Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall game. Every time the jackpot reaches $2 million, it's like the game is being discontinued, except the jackpot is reset at $500,000. The jackpot money is paid through the lower tiers if there is no 6/6 winner.

I've been saying that NC might use pari-mutuel payoffs for Pick 3 and Pick 4 (like California, Massachusetts, and New Jersey), especially if straights pay less than 50% and boxes 48%.

Florida Lotto should add a couple balls to the game. It should remain a classic lotto game however, perhaps introducing a 2/6 prize like in Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall.

CW was getting stronger and stronger until the botched prediction earlier this year. I wonder if Massachusetts is planning a replacement game...I fear the worst.

MA Ca$h WinFall/$1 million+ winners
Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall started in September 2004. The jackpot rolls until it reaches or exceeds $2 million; if still no winner, the money rolls down. CW has produced three jackpot winners, none were $1 million or higher. The jackpot starts at $500,000.

When Ca$h WinFall is retired (which I hope won't be for a long time) I sure hope Massachusetts doesn't replace it with a Lose for Life clone. I don't think MA would offer a cash option.

Florida Mega Money also is a 4+1 game, but the jackpot is capped at $2 million, and does not roll down the same as Michigan WinFall or Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall. Also the FL jackpot is annuitized, and you have 60 days from the DRAWING to choose lump sum.
