State Tax
Yes, you would have to pay Massachusetts state income tax on the winnings. Massachusetts is rather stern when it comes to taxes. As you said you bought a MEGA Millions ticket in California when you were a resident of Massachusetts. California does not tax non-residents if they win a lottery that is played within the state of California. So you would not have a state tax obligation from California. You won MEGA millions when you were resident of Massachusetts. Each person that earns a wage in th

if you could play any state lottery
Massachusetts wasn't listed in the poll, but I do play that lottery. As far as I know, it is the only state lottery to offer subscriptions to out of state residents.Anyone can play the Massachusetts lottery, you don`t have to live in Massachusetts, or have a Massachusetts address. Just for a hundred bucks you are in with a chance, twice a week, of winning millions. If you are not in, you can`t win.Season Tickets can be purchased from out of state, by calling l-800-222-TKTShttp://www.masslottery.

amazing
That's no matches out of 481 predictions made for Massachusetts Numbers yesterday. This is another great use of the Lottery Post Inspector3 system:Go to the Massachusetts Predictions page - hover over the Predictions menu on the blue menu bar, then select Predictions by State, then select Massachusetts. Then click the button near the top to view yesterday's predictions (page back one day). Then, from the Prediction Tools popup menu (top-right of page) select Inspect Numbers Predictions.Very cool:

How soon can you collect winnings (over $600 to under $50,000) in Massachusetts?
Hi, I live in Massachusetts. If you won prizes over $600 and under $50,000 and went directly to the lottery office to claim it, can you collect your winnings on the same day (doesn't matter whether cash or check)? If you get it as a check, how soon would you be able to cash it at a bank? Again, I live in Massachusetts.

Would you stop playing the lottery if you were restricted to Quick Picks?
Not much change in New York or Massachusetts.
