Yeah I agree I have been having trouble sticking to playing small amounts that this year. Seems like I lose badly every time I put down $100 or more. I played today and did badly and had a similar result as on Saturday. I just start losing several in a row get mad then it goes downhill. 5 $5 Biggest Taxes Paid Ever- won $25 1 $5 Super Slots- lost 1 $5 Deluxe Cash Crossword- lost 1 $10 Twisted Bingo- lost 4 $20 Lucky Millionaire- won $25 6 $10 10x Cash- won $10 5 $10 Spa

Good win and I kinda like that idea. I try to do the same type thing with out crosswords and also our Alpha and Twisted tickets. **NEWSFLASH.. PROFIT DAY IN PA**** My income tax check came today and ended in 82, so I kept out $82($50 for my casino fund and $32 for tickets) and deposited the rest. I got $40 on a King of Cash.. the $8 doesn't make up for the rest of the week, but feels good to have a day where you get alittle more then you put in.. I actually think the website messed up m

I understand. I just wanted you to know in case you run into it again. I can t believe you are wearing out that new Bullion card. $400 is the best win as you pay no taxes and you are on your way. That is awesome and congrats. I have heard many folks say they are hitting on Rudy Reds on 000 and 029. That is unusual but it is happening here in High Point too so there is something to it. I bought one at lunch and it was a dud, #11. I have bought several Bullion cards since I hit and than

I could only wish PA players had 1/10th the payout on their scracthers that Flordia does! You guys are very very fortunate! I might go as far as to say that Flordia has the best scratchers in the united states! Skeptic has won more then double this year then I will earn at my full time job before taxes! I can say this, if I ever make it to florida in my life I'll be scratching like a mad man :) P.S. congrats on all those $500 nuggets you've been finding Skeptic. I'm

NY Scratch-off Discussion
i bought eight $30 million a year for life, two $20 win for life spectaculars. i ended up losing on both spectaculars, getting a $100, $35, $30 and $40 from others, so basically I lost around 75 bucks. the only reason i play the win for lifes in new york is because i view them as not a scam, let me explain. in new jersey, when you read the back of any $1mil top prize scratch off, you have to receive either $650k or the top prize over 20 years.. so if you win $1mil in NJ, you end up with

Deducting lottery losses
Hi James This link should give you the answers that you need. http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc419.html One line from the text is very true! It says: It is important to keep an accurate diary or similar record of your gambling winnings and losses. To deduct your losses, you must be able to provide receipts, tickets, statements or other records that show the amount of both your winnings and losses. I know of someone who had well over the amount of their winnings covered by losing ticke

Played through $20 Florida Millionaire's Club roll today
I agree, my experience with the $5 has been 1 in 8 and then out of 50.00 spent it's only a 10.00 winner. If I don't find someone to split costs with, i'll be going down to a 10.00 ticket. but I 'd say stay with a 10 or 20 dollar ticket. Here are the tickets I tried, (I save them for taxes to claim if I do win over 600.00) and from gathering info from clerks and a few other people that play and did not have luck with these as well. Dolphins, Bucs, Golden Goose, Nutcracker, Ruby Red 7's,and I'm

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
I am glad that you did end up making some money today. I spent $50 on Jingle Jumbo Bucks. I very stupidly purchased another ticket, 026, after I the previous ticket, 027 won $25 yesterday. Shame on me. I guess that I still made $5 off those two tickets, so that is good. I lost on tickets 001, 000, 029 and 028 on this game at another retailer. I think I will go back and see if 027 is still there. Kings and Queens 031 and 030 both lost. My impression of that game is that it has fewer winners, but

Scratch offs as a tax write off?
Since i don't know your tax situation married / single / filing status whether you own or rent. What your base income is. I cant answer all your questions but basically if you are buying a home or are married filing jointly then most people will itimise deductions. And a lottery win falls in the catagory of deductions you are entitled to. If you are single filing a short form have no deductions then the tax preparer has nothing to enter for your deductions. It may not be beneficial to you to
