Recent lottery retailer's scams - Big concern !
In last couple of years, I started reading about lot of lottery scams newspapers or online news.
Most alarming thing seen in these scams are 2. Which are:
They are mostly done by lottery retailers. AND It looks like a well orchestrated and organised crime by specific group.
so the follow up questions which are arising in my mind are:
Are these group doing all these scams by themselves ? They must be getting some insider help from lottery governing entity. How do I know my neighbou

How to win at the Georgia $20 instant game, Maximum Green
Wow, that is rough and I am sorry to hear of it. Remember, though, it could always be worse.
I think Lotteries (casinos, and pretty much anything good in life) are designed for exactly that: lure you in with a good win, only to set you up for failure to crash and burn.
I had a similar experience earlier this year with the TN Milliionare ($20) games but luckily in the end I recouped half of my loss, called it a day and deposited the $ in the bank (it spanned 2 or 3 days though, but I am 'ha

Millionaire Jumbo Bucks (Ga.) question
That's truly unusual, with odds of 1 in 3.01 for any prize, the odds of not having any prize what so ever in 24 tickets would be ( 1 - 1/3.01 )^ 24 or 1 in 16,177 which means that there's a 16176 in 16177 chance of you having at least won one $20 prize in 24 tickets. Long odds, but just as with winning the lottery, it does happen. I would expect you to have had at least one such winning ticket after 6 tickets and average one such win ever two tickets in the long run.
Given that scratch off ti

I read your post on the $30 tickets..the Mega I believe you mean? Those $100's are at odd spots...can't really count on the 'good'
numbers in most packs with those: good: 000/006/008/010/018/025/028/029...it's more like 002, 011, 013, 021, 023 the best I've done
with those was a $500 win on ticket #021.
I got a $500 one spot win with a Big Money

Unclaimed Jackpot Prizes
You have 3 possibilities of what happened and 2 are very shady:
The ticket was thrown away. The lottery closed the game because they are allowed if all tickets have been sent out. The lotteries are using shady practices and in this case see below:
This is something that the lotteries should be sued upon, because it's a loophole that can allow a lottery to legally destroy jackpot tickets. This is something I had to do a lot of research to figure out how exactly all the top prizes wer

retailers that have no morals and will switch out winning tickets for non winning tickets
Listen I have a friend who is from India. He owned a store here in Queens. He was a very nice guy or so I thought. We became friends over the years. About 3 or 4 years ago he left the country very fast. They shut the store down and left the USA so fast and left everything behind. Everything in the store I mean everything. And one day he sent me an email and we started to chat. I acted like I knew nothing but I had heard rumours about something to do with lottery tickets etc.
So we started to

Sorry, I did not read this post before I responded to your next post. I will respond to it now, part by part, because you bring up a lot of good points.
I can understand how you might feel that the book was not even distributed fairly, but its not always true that a decent winner is at the front/back of the book. For example, I have won $1,000 several times now and every one of them was in the middle of the book range. I have won $500 probably 15-20 times and the majority of them were #'d 10-

OK, here is the response which I received.
Thank you for contacting the Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC).
The Georgia Lottery goes to great lengths to ensure the security and integrity
of every game. Game symbols and prize amounts are distributed randomly during
the printing process of instant tickets. All instant games are audited by an
independent CPA firm prior to the release of a game to confirm that the
appropriate number of prizes is included in the printing process
