I believe that wheels are an essential element in all numeric lotteries (Pick 3, Pick 4, jackpots). I agree that they're worried about the drop in sales.. What business wouldn't? But why does it seem you and others are giving PB,MM a free pass to abuse the pre-existing rules of the game..? If a grocery store's sell of Bread drops, .. they discount the item to move it.. They tend not to sell it at the same high price.! I usually play the bigger games.. PB, MM, until they pulled a fast one on us...cut the reset jackpot in half, but kept the price of the ticket at $2. Kept the number pool at 69, 70..the same. They were already robbing us blind.. I'm like Hall Oates I can't go for that ..!!! No can do...!! No point in playing til it reaches $40 Million. So, I'll stick to my State's Fantasy 5, or whatever..or not play at all... til they come to their senses, or their knees... whichever comes first.

they need to adjust the ticket price downward to match the lower jackpot. I'm pretty sure that if they adjust the ticket price it's going to automatically adjust the jackpot by a corresponding amount. The result is that unless the reduced price results in a significant increase in ticket sales the reduced price means the jackpots will get even smaller.
