Wow! Where do I start? I guess the one thing that annoys me more than any other would be people who are simply too lazy, too busy or too self-important to check their own tickets for winning numbers. The way I see it, the object of the game is to match three or more numbers in order to win a cash prize, so asking someone else to tell you if you've won anything is like asking the dealer if you should hit 18. JustX I missed the 4th. number by one. ( I was thinking 20 also, but chose 21 instead ) I suppose I should have said. Close to the 100.00 ( as thats more than I usually win ) But anytime I get 3 and miss the 4th number by one........and also pick the correct pattern ( knowing that the way I usually play, I usually run the front end and back end numbers up and down a few numbers , on the patterns I pick ). We were looking to see if the number combinations were bunching up anywhere. Such a trend might be more noticeable if the combinations were expressed as a decimal representation, rather than a group of 5 numbers. That decimal representation is the 'lex number' and will depend on how many total numbers are in the draw range. This is regarding Pick 6 and 5 + 1 games mostly. Consider this, there are more than 57,000 members here. Factor in inactive and what have you and let's say maybe 5 to 10 % post. Now figure most of them play jackpot games, let's say $1 a game to compensate for thos who only play Pick 3 or 4 and for those who spend $10 per drawing.
