The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I believe you are correct.
Winterbird said he was going to calculate his personal odds, which I understand as dividing the number of tickets sold by the number of tickets you bought.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Buddy,
if the final number of tickets sold is about 367.000 and there will be ten top prize winners, the the odds of winning one of the top prizes would be 36,700 to 1. Agree? G5

Powerball lottery tickets go on sale in the UK on July 21
It's too bad the execs at pb couldn't make the odds a little better for 5x and 10x. Would it really hurt there bottom line?
Also maybe increase the cutoff to 300 mil rather than 150 mil? Just saying.
Have a shaggy day!

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Fun race to watch. If I'm betting on which one gets caught first, I'd actually lean Powerball purely on cadence - three draws a week vs two means more chances to roll AND more chances to die. Mega's been the slow burner since the format change (1 in 290.5M vs PB's 1 in 292.2M, so basically identical odds per line now), but fewer draws per week means MM jackpots age slower.
The thing I always watch in these races is ticket-sales elasticity - once either one crosses ~$800M the casual money flo

Pennsylvania Supreme Court outlaws skill games
As I said before... If they can't get their cut they ban it. When are we going to stand up against this tyranny?
I have written my governor regarding banning SC casino's and the lack of other gaming options except the 33% RTP Tennessee Lottery. Along with no clarity regarding payouts and consolidated odds with scratch off tickets citing Texas Lottery as an example.
Holding my breath for a meaningful response. Wish me luck.

How do you actually pick your numbers?
Same meaning quick picks.
With the odds as high as they are, it's the way to go.
And probably most of the winning combinations are qp's
As for the other daily games, any combination of the other options would do.

Curious but skeptical
Been lurking a while and finally curious enough to ask. With all the machine-learning stuff everywhere now, I've been tinkering with running models against historical draw data just to see what shakes out Monte Carlo, Markov chains, a couple of neural-net experiments.
Upfront: I'm not claiming any of it beats the odds. Draws are independent and I know how that math works. It's more that I find it fun to compare what different methods favor and watch how wildly they disagree with each other o
