Access vs. Excel
I know some have used Access to manage their data. I'd like to know from those that have used Excel too, if Access is worth the slowdown period to learn it. I've got a book or two on it, but so far, everything I have needed to do, I have found a way to handle in the spreadsheet program.

Using Excel for Mega Millions?
I haven't been here in a while, but I was thinking about playing tonight's game. I have been reading on some of the posts from the passed on members using Excel for games such as Mega Millions etc...... I was wondering how can I use excel to pick numbers that are frequently being played in excel? I have put all of the passed drawings already in a spreadsheet and I have included rows such as Median, Mode, Range etc...... Can anyone tell me what to do next?

some excel tips 4 all
there are 2 tips I would like to share...1 excel grid if you would like to use excel as graph paper A. click on the epty block beside the A column marker and above the 1 row marker (this selects the whole sheet)B. set uniform column widths by selecting the line between A and B and dragging it left or right, it will display a width by the cursor in lenght and pixels (pixels are important for this) set it to 20 pixelsC. set uniform height by selecting the line between 1 and 2 and dragging it up

would really like to know who has a proven excel spreadsheet they can share with the forum members. Can we try out in our own states to prove it works. Thanks to anyone who responds.

if you get unexpected errors in excel that have no particular reason, this might help...close excel and use windows search to find a file callednormal.dotwhen you do, delete itrestart excel and this file will be regenerated automatically, it is a configuration file. (templates, I believe)I have seen this fix the strangest errors...

Excel formula's....help needed
I know there has been so many post on excel....Well either way..Here is my question:I have the following formula:=SUM(ISNUMBER(FIND(C69,$B$3:$AF$54))*1)Every time I use the ctrl + shift + enter it just stays with the formula in the cell???It use to give me the results and now when I add new formula anywhere even in a fully new excel sheet it still does it..Any one know how to fix this or what I'm doing wrong all of a sudden??This has been a halt to working on my program and is driving me crazy!!

I don't mind excel - and can download the sheet... just hope it is for the non-excel users - KISS. :)Basically where we can download the excel sheet, input our numbers and see the numbers we should play without having to figure out -1, algorithms, etc. LOL
