New Jersey woman to take legal action against Atlantic City casino after being refused $2.5M payout
The casino should simply compensate her. While I'm not certain of the specific laws, it's widely known that casinos have a reputation for their actions, even under surveillance. Should this matter proceed to court, it would likely reflect poorly on the casino. Then if she does make out ok with a lawyer, the lawyer is laughing to the bank anyway. After checking the gematria app, this story is weird. roney beal = 47 72 is another number. oh boy .

U.S. Postal Service worker pleads guilty after caught stealing cash and lottery tickets from mail
Been a couple of years ago from Grand Jury duty. The DA told us the reason they seek maximum here in Shelby County, KY was for two reasons. 1) 'they' will always seek a plea deal. 2) If you do not seek the maximum, you are not allowed to go into court and up the ante, only what's presented in the courtroom. She said we could take notes, and go to the office down the road if we want to check the status of cases. One case became Federal and wish I could remember the perps name. We had one RICO

Eight years later, when she filed for bankruptcy, she had less than $700 in the bank and $2.5 million in debt. Her donations were well-intentioned, but she simply gave too much. After donating huge sums to educational, political and social causes, she sold her rights to future annual payments in exchange for a lump sum, according to Time. DC man sues the lottery after incorrect numbers posted on website would have won him $340 million
Most up to date info on this case. Looks like he was granted his request to file an amended complaint which is pretty much routinely granted. Powerball filed a motion to dismiss in January and it looks like this motion is on the calendar for May. So the case should be dismissed at that point. I am sure he will appeal to the appellate court as before. There are pdfs for all the pleadings. https://portal-dc.tylertech.cloud/app/RegisterOfActions/#/5A03F66E68C8F904ADEA594C890F08F24114A78DA2D
