Last drawing on Dec. 26 By Todd Northrop The states involved in the Monopoly Millionaires' Club lottery game have decided to halt ticket sales for the game as of Dec. 26. Twenty-two states plus the District of Columbia current offer the multi-state lottery game, which started just two months ago. The decision means players in the participating states can buy tickets for the game until Dec. 26. Three more drawings will be held, including those scheduled for Dec. 12, Dec. 19, and Dec.

Whats you thoughts on MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB?
So far I have spent $23 and won $12. NY Lottery has a promotion this month, buy one $5 ticket and get $1 your next purchase. I only purchase one per draw. I have to admit its a little price. Just matching the property number (1-28) the payout is $7 which is a complete joke. The Power-Ball number (1-35) match pays $4. It should be at triple the amount for a $5 ticket. Theres only a 4% chance of even matching the property number.

Lottery players like to play for life changing jackpots, people that like to play for bigger jackpots are not interested in higher lower tier prizes. I hope that this game does not fail like the Monopoly Millionaires' Club lottery game.

Monopoly Millionaires' Club actually WAS developed by a private company (SGI/MDI). In fact, most if not all lottery games on the market today are created by the vendor(s). As I discussed in another post, the vendors practically have a monopoly, and the states are so desperate that they are like sheep and will take whatever looks promising. In this case, the market research and feedback that went into MMC development was HIGHLY suspect. But the lotteries went along with it anyway.
