Powerball underestimated by that much?
They have past sales, but not future sales, which is what was being discussed.
Normally, they do conservatively underestimate the sales, but lately, the jackpots have been in uncharted territory, so they've had to make corrections in both directions on many occasions in the past few big runs. Using the lates numbers, the current $400M JP is based on projected sales of approx $188M.(of which, 29.97% goes to feed to JP pool)
This current run is on track to easily surpass the 5/18/13 Gloria r

MM numbers looks odd again??
Yup, there was an article in the Amarillo paper about it and they quoted some math prof. from a local college about the odds of it happening. I also remember another man from Texas playing one of the nationwide lotteries in New Mexico who got 6 or 7 QP and they were all the same number. I saw a photo of all the tickets, but still wondered if it *might* be some sort of hoax. If not, then there had to be something wrong w/ that lotto terminal, wouldn't you say?
Both lines looked funny to me,

Illinois Lottery adds new feature to numbers games
Agreed, Littleoldlady.
Consdidering this:
The Fireball ball is drawn from a pool of numbered and unnumbered balls (10 numbered balls 0 9 and 10 unnumbered balls for Pick 3; 10 numbered balls 0 9 and 20 unnumbered balls for Pick 4). If an unnumbered ball is drawn for Fireball, there is no additional opportunity to win prizes in that draw. When a numbered Fireball ball is selected it does not guarantee a cash prize will result you still have to match one of the number combinations on your ti

Front pair for your picks
locate front pairs of a DRAW SET within a pool range and pick a key:
Range 0-3 Key 8679
4-6 Key 1327
7-9 Key 5124
using the keys : The front pairs are your positional targets, so a key 8679 is more effective 86x-87x- 89. For P4 , the pair is ok, a triad is better.

In Pick 3 you can't be 100% sure on just about anything..........but
Odds say we are almost maxed out tonight ......on either digit 7.....or digit 9 hitting.
Normally, with that much pressure on an ODD digit hitting.... I go ahead and call it mostly Odd to All odd.
So, that gets us into the Odds Baby Pool anyway. Starting off with 2 of the 50/50 filters is nice. Gets it way down... real fast.
That's pretty easy.... it's not like we are betting our lives on it ...

Minnesota man claims share of $448M Powerball jackpot
The post I replied to said $149 million and my figures were based on that. It's amazing how much an advertised jackpot of $448 million can be diluted. That means the 16 people in the NJ pool will get less than $4 million each which is still a nice hit.
In the interview Paul White mentioned a car he saw on Craig's List and said he was going to buy it the next day and why I mentioned a line of credit. It will probably be a 30 day loan and be deducted when the winnings are in his account.

When you are in a slump/losing streak how do you change things up?
Hello,
Lately I've been feeling like I've been in a losing steak/slump. Though I've cut down on my lottery playing for the past 6 months, I can't seem to win anything. When I buy scratch tickets I tend to buy one 2 or 5 dollar scratch ticket and scratch it in the store and if I win nothing will buy one more and leave and that will be it. I still buy one MM and PB ticket (though not everyweek) along with Mass Cash Tickets every now and then. The most I ever won in the last few months is a coup
