Texas Woman Sues Over Winning Lottery Ticket
pigsNtrees, in Texas that happens a lot. I did a search for lottery loser stories ( I love reading lottery stories- winners or losers ) and I found a site that really HATED Texas and told of a bunch of things that Texas is known for doing. One happens to be improper math.
The important thing for Texans, or anyone for that matter, to do is to know how much they are suppose to get before they collect. Then call the officials on it, if you get less. Some people don't care. If they're get

No delusion-100% winning method
Yes Best Picks,
Working together we'll all get more accurate. Watch out lottery indeed. I'll try to
post the pick 4 method tonight as well after my workout for Mazie and Brenda. The
pick 4 is a monster, but you will get the winning number within a relatively small
pool of numbers. l

A BLIND TRUST to claim anonymously?
If you're asking about residency, then the answer is no. If you buy a ticket, win, and then move before claiming it there's nothing to prevent you from claiming it as a resident of the state you moved to. Unless the state you moved from has stupid legislators writing their tax laws you'll still owe taxes to that state, and you should also expect to pay income tax as a resident of your new state, as well.
If your question is really as simple as it sounds, the answer is yes. Why on Earth would

New York pick10
sflippo:
To win $4 I'd have had to buy a ticket. Nearest I can figure NY's off somewhere a couple thousand miles to the NE, which is as close as I ever intend to get to it again. However, if New Mexico had Keno I'd be tickled pea green to try my hand at it. Evidently, judging from the post earlier from the Gail Howard book, the pool of keno games is shrinking. A number of them were there when the book was written where there's only a smoking hole now.
Too bad. I like the game.

$853,492 gone
Why even play if your not going to check your ticket? I know that odds are against u but at least check your tickets. 2 tickets, worth 850 k might go unclaimed pisses me off. That is alot of money for anyone, don't see how people can be so careless.
from powerball site:
$853,492 Powerball Tickets to Expire!
Two Powerball tickets worth an incredible $853,492 each will expire soon if the winners do not step forward. One ticket was purchased on October 19, 2005 at

Playing lottery alone?

I can't think of anyplace where I didn't see whoever was going on a loto run didn't ask everyone if they wanted in.
The only thing I can think of is maybe the group you encountered was real optimistic about hitting a jackpot and has already set uo a trust with a lawyer.
Thanks. I agree. That's what I always thought, but LottoGroups does make a good point too. I just figured the more the merrier, but I suppose if the group had won

Penn. woman sues for share of winning lottery ticket
Another lesson of life:
BUY LOTTERY TICKETS ALONE !!!
MY THOUGHTS EXACTY!!!!!
I don't play in any pools at work or anywhere else, I have told all of my family members I would not give them a penny if I ever won, and I don't buy tickets for anyone but myself nor do I ask anyone to buy for me. Seems like a great way to play now with all of this balony. You all can play in pools if you want, not me and I do not recommend it for anyone. Even if the person or people

what does a prediction formula look like?
Hello LottoL,
I don't use 33 drawings, it just that for that drawing #7 hadn't come up in 33 drawings. All the numbers in Wednesday drawing came up in the previous 9 drawings. As I said in my post, 50% of the time all the numbers in winning combinations have come up in the 15 previous drawings or less. For my pool of numbers I usually look back 15 or less drawings knowing that 50% of the time all five numbers will not be in it. I don't usually play all 56 numbers.
That is just one of
