NY Dream Team 2024
Frustrated cuz I went for it few days in a row heavy 403,304 straight and combo x2. Cuz 3 is so due. I give up for now. I tried. Nyl always wins. Ny always wins with their endless potholes and the longest stupidest traffic lights I've seen in any state...and crazy high taxes and cost of living. Cool they test their machines though....18 straight draws without a 3...obviously their ping pong ball toilet is working perfectly I can't imagine there is a worst daily lottery than NY

NY Dream Team 2024
Not to beat a very dead horse...but how exactly do these ny government pricks test their machines? If the same keeps hitting it's obviously not working randomly and fairly...yet you ny government @ssholes keep putting out these results that are obviously f#cked. Our streets our the worst in the country and our taxes our ridiculous...how many ways can you simultaneously f#ck us?

I'm going to quit playing the POWERBALL!!! I think it's rigged. It always payed out/winning tickets in the Northern States that pay state/federal taxes. I'm mad.. I thought I was going to wake up retired. Lol I had a short term good feeling of feeling like the winner. There was a 3 hour delay- SUSPECT!!!

$1.23 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
You'll be taxed at the highest rate - 37% So you'll have 630K after taxes. Am right there with you, but I always have the PP on so that's going to be 2M for me and 1,260,000 after paying Uncle Sam.

The Idiot Tax
Ignore the little jack asses that live in your head, they get everything wrong, they say. Doesn't matter where the taxes come from, property, sales, income, lottery, when have you last seen your tax dollars at work? The pot hole is still there, but they added a speed bump. That's about all government is, a bump in the road. BobP Excel at PE if you want to earn a living throwing things.

The only thing you have to do now is sign a long print out from the terminal, you show your Drivers License and Social and the claim is done on the lottery terminal no more forms to fill out. Of course, then after that the agent pays you. PS back in 2016 they had a 10% added bonus to the prizes...I hit a P4 straight for 5K but it was $5500 with the promo so I had to go lottery headquarters to collect instead of an Agent + guess what my check was for? Florida man arrested after buying $31,000 worth of lottery tickets using company credit card
I doubt they will take him to court for that small amount. They could dock his pay if he still works there or get a lien on his home or future new employer salary perhaps. A lien would need a court order but it would far less visible to the general public. Most companies have theft insurance policies as well. I think he would owe taxes on that money.

Interpretations of Wagers Made And PrizeRatio/ Winnings
I guess it depends on what you did with the 4k. If you spent 8k, and the 4k win was subject to taxes, then the profit would be lower than 4k. If the tax was say 1k, then your profit is 3k, and your net loss would be 5k. (8k - net profit of 3k) If you throw the 3k back in and come up dry, then your out of pocket expenses remain -8k, but the total loss is -11k, and only the IRS won the 1 k tax payout.
