Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Someone posted, I believe it was CapeScratcher about how the new prize payout is lower than it was before. So if you want a better payout on $1million dollar winner stick to tickets that came out with 500x or before. I'd stick with $20 Gold Rush Limited. It's crazy that there is a 200k difference in payout. That's almost 40% in taxes out the gate :(.

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The game really had only one decent prize and now that was been reduced by this change. That normally $10 for beating 80 something to 1 odds was/is a joke. And that second prize which many times wasnt even $100 is a huge slap in the face for someone beating 2400 to 1 odds.....now beating nearly 400,000 to one odds isnt going be even $100,000 after taxes. I will be surprise if this doesnt take a huge hit in the amount of people playing.

500X the Cash is a straight cash payout minus taxes. 1 Million a Year for Life is an annuity, which would be paid out as 1 million a year for twenty-five years. If you take the cash option, you receive the amount that they would have to invest over 25 years to pay that amount (which is less than the full 25 million.)

$2 billion Powerball lottery winner buys $25.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion
Ok It was listed @ 29 million ,, Castro paid 25 million so he saved 4 million. His taxes are on 25 mil. I'm thinking he should spend on investment properties to grow capital and offset the tax liability.

$2 billion Powerball lottery winner buys $25.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion
The guy purchased a 25 million dollar home for 4 million. Just think the number of people who looked and said wow what a steal if I only had 4 million. Is the owner responsible for the taxes on the value of the property 25 mil. Or just the purchase price of 4 mil.???

$2 billion Powerball lottery winner buys $25.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion
This guy is going to have a lot of annual property TAXES to pay on a $25 Million home in Los Angeles. Also, even though the home is situated above a Hollywood Hills Celebrity Hotel hangout, Chateau Marmot, this guy is not a celebrity, he's probably just a regular person. He might not fit in with a celebrity crowd, even though he is now rich.

The ever increasingly inflated jackpot prizes for MM and PB
Shocking that an advertised jackpot of 2.04 Billion results in a $997 million payout. And then the aftershock of federal taxes make it $628.5 million take home. California has the nation's highest state tax at 13.3%, thankfully, it exempts Powerball winnings from taxation else there would be another $132.7 million disappearing. https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwood/2022/11/09/204-billion-powerball-winner-takes-home-628-million-after-taxes/?sh=d5d6b697bbeb G

The ever increasingly inflated jackpot prizes for MM and PB
Saw news headline saying California $2 billion jackpot winner ONLY gets $997 million after taxes. And the take home would be less another $147 million if California taxed the winnings.

Why is there a sudden drop in winning a $1 million prize compared to last year? Also, do you know the total amount take home after taxes? I thought you were taxed only once @ 24% from the IRS? Thanks for the prize payout table, I didn't think there would be any $1 million prizes on this ticket at all. Hopefully this means we are getting a new Lucky for Life game coming in March or soon.
