Last Night: 9 19 25 27 29 All odd numbers which doesn't happen much, but the real story about last night's numbers is that there were SEVEN winners. Each winner won $25,369 before taxes. IMHO the reason for seven winners is that they're birthday numbers . ( There were 5 Player picked numbers and 2 QP's) Somebody was saavy enough to play them twice so they actually won $50,738. G5

Playing FF5 these days is almost pointless. There have been a total of 148 drawings (both midday and evening) since the midday drawings began. 60 of them (40.5%) were rolldowns. (No jackpot winner) The average total jackpot for all 74 evening drawings is $137,965. Many of those drawings saw multiple winners. One of them had five winners so each winner won $28,300 before taxes.... I've been spending my $$ on Jackpot Triple Play. It's currently at it's maximum jackpot of 2 million, bu

Something else too... My 45 year old nephew hit five numbers playing NY's Take5. Because there were three other winners of the jackpot he won $17,000. After taxes he took home $12,000. I asked him if he had won back everything he lost playing the lottery. He said: Are you kidding me??? I've been playing the lottery for 25 years and there's no way $12,000 would ever cover all of my losses. BTW - he spent a whopping one dollar the day he won. He filled up his car with gas which cost h

There's something I cant help but wonder about. I just took a look at The Top Prize Winner and Retailer Report. Most of the winners are from the evening drawing (no big surprise there) but there are quite a few winners from the midday draw listed. (That's because there are multiple winners of very small jackpot amounts.) Are those players deliberately playing in the midday drawing, or did they buy their ticket in the morning thinking it would be good for the evening draw but unknowingly

Now that there has been two drawings held, I think we can see the pattern for what the future holds as far as jackpots go. The midday draw jackpots will be low, and the evening draw jackpots will be substantially higher. (Last nights jackpot was almost three times higher than the midday's) My guess is that FF5 players will catch on to that very quickly, and as a result will wait for the midday draw to happen, and then buy their tickets for the evening draw. I think too, that we're going to s

With the addition of the midday drawing in March of last year (and I still say that was a whopper of a mistake on the part of The Florida Lottery. They certainly did NOT do players any favors) there are now 60 to 62 drawings per month. (As opposed to 30 to 31 in the good old days.) That's why all 36 FF5 numbers are usually drawn every month. It's next to impossible for any given number in a set of 36 numbers not to be drawn in 60, 61 or 62 drawings. In the good old days it occasionally happ

Sometimes I ask myself why do you so this? You know... I post all this good stuff about FF5. I've even asked myself why did I decide to become a very knowledgeable person with regard to playing online lottery games. (I dont consider myself an expert so I wrote very knowledgeable instead) The short answer is because I'd love to know what it feels like to win a big pot of money, not to mention knowing what it feels like to spend a large amount of money on what amounts to a dream/fantasy.
