Annuity vs Cash Value
Whit the low interest rates available today, the cash value is approximately 71% of the annuity jackpot amount. Which would you take if you won a jackpot?

Is a 400 million jackpot possible?
Can any one tell me why the MM Annuity vs cash is 90/53 = little less than 60% and PB is 340/164.4 which is less than 50%.

One more annuity vs cash discussion
One thing I haven't seen mentioned in these discussions, (or I missed), is any mention of someone taking a cash option not having the same buying power , let's say, of what the annuity offered. In other words, let's say the deal is a $100,000,000 annuity spread over 20 or 26 years as compared to a cash option that is about 40% of that, pre-tax. I've learned here on LP that the advertised jackpot amount (annuity) doesn't really exist in cash (and that's what the prize wouldl be, theorhet

would you take cash or payments on the PB
an additional thought if you live in a state with income tax the are going to take 5% on lump sum. If you take the annuity you could pay the 5% on the 1st annuity pay and then move to a state with no income tax such as TN TX FL NV. Can any one tell me why the MM Annuity vs cash is 90/53 = little less than 60% and PB is 340/164.4 which is less than 50%.

Fresh Questions Anybody?
They have to be repeated at one time or another, because how many different questions can there really be? I voted for the anonymity question, since that's the one I've seen since I first joined, but I suppose all of them have been repeated several times over the past year. The most common debate seems to be Annuity vs Cash. The most common poll seems to be what would you do if you won in one form or another or why do you play? etc. As far as favorite poster goes, I never even considered

Fresh Questions Anybody?
mylollipop I voted for Other... I think the top two topics here are Annuity vs Cash Option and then Quick Picks vs selecting your own numbers. Since you're looking for fresh topis for polls and questions, maybe something on luck, are some people just luckier, how much is luck a factor or the factor, etc....

Are you ready for the attention?
ROFLMAO. Come on Lejardin. That JP is mine. I have to say, both Gloria AND her son have done an extraordinary job staying out of the limelight and the press, and considering that she's the largest individual PB winner ever, that says a lot. So I think a $1B winner will be okay eventually if they are smart. PB was stupid to not have learned from MM. Sales are still down for both and there have been no record breaking JPs. Idiots. I want to see a 3rd game with REALLY awful odds. But wi

Many would call these 'bad' numbers, right?
I didn't say I considered them bad, I said many here, if they got those numbers on a QP, would say there were 'bad'. First you said many here and now you're pointing you never gave any names. Some of the things you are 'correcting that aren't true' are not true in your mind only. But just like most of your foolish remarks, you can't even name one. The last time I looked this is a lottery discussion forum, but it's impossible to discuss why anybody would call these bad numbers when y

Lottery Post Polls / Topics
Oops. I forgot I couldn't edit the poll along with this comment. Well, I ran out of spaces, so I will continue. 11.) What kind of car would you drive? 12.) Would you continue to work? 13.) Would you post your ticket on Lottery Post? 14.) Is the lottery really random? 15.) Do you think the lottery is rigged? 16.) Other (explain) I think it's a toss up between Quick Picks or Your Own Numbers Annuity vs Cash. Remaining anonymous is a close second.
