Iowa Lottery blames "human reporting error" for posting incorrect Powerball results
Players who claimed prizes under wrong numbers can keep their winnings By Kate Northrop The Iowa Lottery attributed posting the wrong Powerball numbers on their website for Monday's draw to a human reporting error and told players who already redeemed prizes that they can keep the winnings. Several hours after the wrong Powerball numbers were posted on the Iowa Lottery's website the night of the drawing on Mon., Nov. 27, the Lottery removed the incorrect sequence and republished the

Florida LLC revealed to have claimed $1.6 billion Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Exactly my thoughts. If the doctor had a winning ticket of more than $600 that he must redeem at a Florida Lottery office prior to September, then his name and address was saved in The Florida Lottery's database. When The Jackpot Winners and Retailer Information Report was created in September, it's very plausible that his name was placed on the report either by a software program error or it was manually put on the report in error by someone that works at The Fla Lottery. $1.25 BILLION: Mega Millions jackpot set to deliver unimaginable wealth
Todd, you may want to correct a tiny error in the above story. About the 7th or 8th paragraph you state Friday's $1.35 Billion Mega Millions,... shouldn't it read $1.25?

Scotland's £148M EuroMillions lottery winner no longer speaking to family after giving them £20M
Be interested to see Todd Kate's response to NY Times article that Iowa post wrong Powerball results---human error. Suspicious to me that some folks were able to 'cash in' amounts up $200 on the wrong #'s in the wee hours of the morning. That doesn't sit well with me. If they were posted incorrectly then someone entered the wrong #'s in the system. There should be electronic safeguards. Give me a break, folks cashing in the wee hours of the morning. Here the system for on-line goes off-line from

$900 MILLION: Powerball jackpot rises, but sales miss in last draw makes for small increase
I went looking for it and what happened is kind of odd. When I searched it on my phone in the Google Play store, it was nowhere to be found. When I went to the website, both on my phone and on my PC and clicked the link to Google, I got an error message. Has it been taken off Google temporarily or is the Android version being discontinued? I wonder.
