Virginia winners may have to pay for Lottery's mistake
Sometimes lotto luck lies underneath the surface of a scratch-off ticket. Sometimes it lies in the bounce of a ball. And sometimes it lies with the Virginia attorney general's office. Hundreds of players thought they had struck gold when lottery terminals errantly spit out tickets that appeared to have won them as much as $7,777. Turns out it was a computer programming error, not lady luck. Now the state's top lawyers will consult with the Virginia Lottery to decide whether the players get

Virginia Lottery adds Sunday drawings
In an effort to ward off losses to North Carolina, the Virginia Lottery is adding Sunday drawings, starting this weekend. Competition south of the border will cut into Virginia Lottery profits this year, but new games could limit the losses to North Carolina. You don't want to sit still and watch that flattening of sales occur, said Sheila Hill-Christian, executive director of the State Lottery Department. The North Carolina lottery, started last year, could lop profits $50 million, d

Maryland woman wins $50,000 Pick 5 prize the same day she collects second-chance lottery prize
She won using the same numbers that previously won her $25,000 By Kate Northrop A Maryland woman says she is on a lucky streak after stepping out of the Maryland Lottery's headquarters just to win a $50,000 Pick 5 prize right across the street. 59-year-old Victoria Sadler can't believe her luck after she won $50,000, not only after having just claimed another lottery prize that same day, but doing so using the same numbers that won her a $25,000 prize the year before. Last week,

Top 10 Issues encountered when filling out betslips (manually)
Ohio requires their retailers to only accept original play slips which must also be hand marked. That's not to say some retailers don't accept replicas or auto printed play slips. I hand mark mine after my printer places a small x over my number selections. The x is there to help me quickly see and mark the correct numbers. Florida has a similar rule. By no means am I telling you not to move forward with your play slip printer, I just want to make sure you understand why some retailers may no

PA Lottery
PA is normally a 60% return. $600 roll of $20 ticket is generally $340/$360 return if you don't get anything above $100. Anything above is considered the bonus ticket on top of the normal win so a $500 winner would mean a $840 pack return. Usually they have 8 or 9 winners. We have a $10 fast play with top prize of $500. I never won it but I like that one. You can still win lower prizes but at least can get a $500. To only have a top prize of $100 on a $10 seems so wasteful. I am 3 for 6 with

PA makes you want to knock them down and out every single month...they have a new..NEW...$10 Fast Play game. I think it was omiller that said once that PA has got about 100 games going in scratch offs alone and every single month they bring out more. I'm wondering where the $50 ticket is like Texas has. Insane greed is all it is. People will keep on buying them too. Not too long ago, they put the debit machines next to the lottery terminals in some places. Insane.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
What's up everyone? Have not played a lot recently. Or when I have I've been buying my mom/gram 2 of the $2 tickets and me trying my luck on the $5 Full of crap. Oddly the one game that helps me get something back since most of those scratchers have been duds has been the Cornhole Cash fast play game. Gotten decent $2 even, $5, and even $10 wins and they seem to do better on those than the $2 scratchoff. I don't remember the last time I tried a $20 scratcher, probably the last time I poste
