Lottery Prediction by Recurrence Analysis
Hello all. First, I am not Eugene Kononov, I just use the program he wrote. To load a data file into VRA click on 'File', then 'Open signal', then specify 'all types' in the load menu. Data must be in the form of a plain ASCII file (spaces and line breaks between numbers make no difference). VRA has an extensive help section, but if anyone wants a UK lottery file I can e-mail them.Okay, here are the main sites I refer to (all links have been tested and are current):http://archives.math.utk.edu/t

STRAIGHT System for Pick 3
Hello AANewYork, I'm a newbie here and new to playing lotto. Is there a glossary? I read the first pages of this 99 page forum. I understand your reference box method, but what does box and straight mean? I understand from reading up on the lotto that a box is permutations of a number. Are you using the word Box to mean the same thing? I will admit that I'm impressed by what I'm reading about your strategies and everyone's winnings. Thanks

Can a pattern really help me win the jackpot
As Todd once responded in a post you made, he once tried to start a glossary of lottery terms and found there are very few standard lottery terms, every body who writes a book or sometimes just start a thread have their own words to describe the same things. For example I use the word gap to describe the difference between numbers in a sorted lottery combination while others use the word skip which I use to describe the number of drawings a number goes without a hit. Even gap is confusing

Todd's Deflate and Inspector Filters and Stats Tools.
Why is this post being distorted with predictions? Lantern is trying to explain certain features regarding the use of filters. This kind of information is useful to me, and probably a lot of other members/visitors to LP. LP doesn't have a Glossary of Terms (???Todd???) applicable to most lotteries. Lantern is filling a need. We should respect and appreciate what he is doing. Personal strategies should be put in other posts. Bobby

Can a pattern really help me win the jackpot
just because a task is difficult does not mean it should be abandoned... If Lottery Post is the worldwide leader...then maybe lottery post management should set the standard...without standardized measurements there can be very little improvement in lottery theory... yes you say gap...i say space...i am willing to sacrifice space for gap...because it is understood. Yes i use skip that way also...some people say games out...but skip is more efficient than games out. also keep in mind man

Fooled by Randomness
CARBOB, What do you think now, still noise, over 25% hit rate ? (Did you read this?) http://ms.about.com/od/glossary/g/significance.htm The next time you watch three [0...9] lottery ball machines on TV, ask yourself, How do these machines know what the trend is and whether to continue it if they do? If, after reading the About.com definition and reflecting on the ball machines, you still believe you have discovered some predictable pattern or trend, you are free to do so. In

Fooled by Randomness
CARBOB, In this post, https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/218174/1783866 ME: No. There are no trends in p-3. YOU: What would this be, the values in red. The True/False is tracking Mirrors within 3 draws, False is no mirror witin 3 draws; True is mirror within 3 draws. The mirrors are 0-5,1-6,2-7,3-8,4-9. To me, that's a trend. Sorry Bob, but to me, this is noise. Do you think your observations over these few days would pass this test? http://ms.about.com/od/glossary/g/signif
