Many times during the last couple of years I've searched the Internet until I'm Blue in the face trying to find definitions to Lottery Terms with dismal results. A Lottery Glossary under Resources would have save me lots of time (probably lots of other people too). We need a LP Member or Group of LP Members to run the Lottery Glossary Project: compile the Lottery Glossary and have LP Members vote on the acceptance of the definitions (especially the ones that may be in contention). Sounds like a great idea. I think new comers need to do their due diligence as well. So many threads out there that speak to these things at one point or the other. It's like building one's vocabulary. When you hear a new word or term, do the research. To your original point, a glossary of terms would be a great idea although some terms carry different meanings to different people. You would have to build a glossary where terms listed mean the same to most if not all. Mirror is definatel

Thats like saying: You have to become a Mechanic before you can Drive a Car! This thread is about the suggested inclusion of a Lottery Glossary on Lottery Post and the implementation of same: All the the information you mention is quite interesting, however, none of them offer up any insight into the topic at hand (Suggestion for a Lottery Glossary). That is the purpose of compiling the definitions and alternate definitions and having a vote. If someone did not participate in compiling the definitions or in the voting process then they have no room for complaining about the definitions placed in the Lottery Glossary.

As a relatively new participant, I can say that I would have found it very helpful to have a glossary of common jargon all in one place to refer to. I've mostly caught on, but only mostly. Like what's a clean number? I just recently ran across that in an old thread.
