Lottery Study
Many times during the last couple of years I've searched the Internet until I'm Blue in the face trying to find definitions to Lottery Terms with dismal results. A Lottery Glossary under Resources would have save me lots of time (probably lots of other people too). We need a LP Member or Group of LP Members to run the Lottery Glossary Project: compile the Lottery Glossary and have LP Members vote on the acceptance of the definitions (especially the ones that may be in contention). Todd at one time planned to create a glossary of lottery terms but found unlike casino gamblers many lottery players made up terms that weren't generally known by other players and were confusing so the glossary was never completed. Players sometimes use terms found in Gail Howard's books but those terms don't mean much to players who haven't read her books, like me.

Lottery Prediction by Recurrence Analysis
Hello all. First, I am not Eugene Kononov, I just use the program he wrote. To load a data file into VRA click on 'File', then 'Open signal', then specify 'all types' in the load menu. Data must be in the form of a plain ASCII file (spaces and line breaks between numbers make no difference). VRA has an extensive help section, but if anyone wants a UK lottery file I can e-mail them.Okay, here are the main sites I refer to (all links have been tested and are current):http://archives.math.utk.edu/t

I agree and remember this. There are many common terms, but a huge number of terms are made up by people, and they repeat them lots of times, hoping they will stick. Such people would expect the glossary to include their terms, even though they just made them up, or maybe heard them from someone who made them up. A lottery glossary would have to be like a real dictionary, in which a word can have multiple meanings.

A beginners corner
Sounds like a great idea. I think new comers need to do their due diligence as well. So many threads out there that speak to these things at one point or the other. It's like building one's vocabulary. When you hear a new word or term, do the research. To your original point, a glossary of terms would be a great idea although some terms carry different meanings to different people. You would have to build a glossary where terms listed mean the same to most if not all. Mirror is definatel
