STRAIGHT System for Pick 3
Hello AANewYork, I'm a newbie here and new to playing lotto. Is there a glossary? I read the first pages of this 99 page forum. I understand your reference box method, but what does box and straight mean? I understand from reading up on the lotto that a box is permutations of a number. Are you using the word Box to mean the same thing? I will admit that I'm impressed by what I'm reading about your strategies and everyone's winnings. Thanks

I had a similar experience trying to locate a previous post. I never did find it! Maybe it was colateral damage in the recent database failure? So, do you have any interest in Working on the Lottery Glossary Project?

Hello Todd. We have noticed new members that join the post sometimes struggle to understand various lottery terms, methods, etc. We have seen some become frustrated and drop off. Some of the members helpfully and dutifully repeat and define things for new members over and over again. Some don't always give the most common, or the best explanation. Some new members get a very short answer or no answer at all. This is understandable when you see the same helpful members get overwhelmed time afte

Trailing Numbers - Gail Howard Smart Luck Software
SL glossary: The Trailing Numbers Chart is a lotto strategy chart in Advantage Gold lottery software (Chart D) and the Lottery Master Guide book. This is the chart to use if you want to find out which numbers followed (trailed) last week's winners the most throughout the entire history of your game. Trailing Numbers helps us find numbers that, in the past, had hit most often immediately after the numbers that just hit. In other terms: You count +1 when number x followed number y. You

A section for new members,
That's nice, but the standard mathematical terminology has been in existence since before modern lotteries, and is the terminology everyone understands, including new users. Nobody should have to read a glossary of jargon before posting on the site, especially since many of the phrases some people use are incorrect, make no sense even to long-time LP users, and are used to mean different things by different people. If a person is easily peeved having to explain their jargon, they should switc

Can a pattern really help me win the jackpot
As Todd once responded in a post you made, he once tried to start a glossary of lottery terms and found there are very few standard lottery terms, every body who writes a book or sometimes just start a thread have their own words to describe the same things. For example I use the word gap to describe the difference between numbers in a sorted lottery combination while others use the word skip which I use to describe the number of drawings a number goes without a hit. Even gap is confusing

The New Kid On The Block
Hi Milyenar, How's it going? Well, at least there's a few of us posting from the Great Gem State of Idaho !! I know you're going to love this site, it's just full of info on lot's of stuff for lotto players. I've been having a ball just surfing all over the place. However, I wished I could find a glossary for lotto terms, gargin, slang, lingo. Maybe we ought to start one. At least for us new kids on the block. Welcome to the forum Lovemoney. I don't own any lottery books, maybe someone else knows of some. That Rob's Best Picks that numbers gets at the corner store seems to put out some hits. I'll probably pick one up if I can find it. The Lottery Post has so much information you could spend a lot of time trying to take it all in. I enjoy reading the Lottery Systems forum. There is one book, or actually a collection of articles that I read online a while back and I think I read here on Lot
