Can a pattern really help me win the jackpot
just because a task is difficult does not mean it should be abandoned... If Lottery Post is the worldwide leader...then maybe lottery post management should set the standard...without standardized measurements there can be very little improvement in lottery theory... yes you say gap...i say space...i am willing to sacrifice space for gap...because it is understood. Yes i use skip that way also...some people say games out...but skip is more efficient than games out. also keep in mind man

Mathematics and the Lottery
CARBOB, I assume you are referring to stattrek's entry here: http://stattrek.com/help/glossary.aspx?target=bayes_rule Stattrek provides the formula for Bayes' Theorem, but not much of an explanation. Bayes' Theorem defines a way of calculating Conditional probabilities. It's usually written as... P ( A | B ) = blah blah blah... In English, this means The Probability of A, GIVEN that B has Already Occured. As is usually the case, Wikipedia provides an explanation more understandabl

Fooled by Randomness
CARBOB, What do you think now, still noise, over 25% hit rate ? (Did you read this?) http://ms.about.com/od/glossary/g/significance.htm The next time you watch three [0...9] lottery ball machines on TV, ask yourself, How do these machines know what the trend is and whether to continue it if they do? If, after reading the About.com definition and reflecting on the ball machines, you still believe you have discovered some predictable pattern or trend, you are free to do so. In

Fooled by Randomness
CARBOB, In this post, https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/218174/1783866 ME: No. There are no trends in p-3. YOU: What would this be, the values in red. The True/False is tracking Mirrors within 3 draws, False is no mirror witin 3 draws; True is mirror within 3 draws. The mirrors are 0-5,1-6,2-7,3-8,4-9. To me, that's a trend. Sorry Bob, but to me, this is noise. Do you think your observations over these few days would pass this test? http://ms.about.com/od/glossary/g/signif

Lottery Math
http://www.psn.net/xocxoc/math/rawdata.htmLottery MathIs it better to play 50 dollars one week, or one dollar for fifty weeks? The odds of a Lotto style lottery can be found with the formula: n! / (n - r)! r! where n is the highest numbered ball and r is the number of balls chosen. This is called in math a combination. An easier way to think about it is if there are 40 balls and 6 are chosen, there are 40 possible numbers that can come up first, leaving 39 that can come up second, then 38, 37,

Hello all, Newbie here
Hello Kaptain, I was a history major. All I know is study/research. My research tells me there is definitely some relationship between past drawings and future results. That can't be just mere coincidence. Or else, there wouldn't be such a large community, like this one. I definitely get that, and that's why I want to participate. I do use software, and the software(s) I plan to use will do the same for me as doing it on pen and paper. HOWEVER, I will learn how to do it pen and paper, beca

Most probable range of Gap Totals
From their glossary. To show how this score is calculated, for the combination 07-16-24-39-49-53 the gaps would be: 16-07 = 9 24-07 = 17 39-07 = 32 49-07 = 42 53-07 = 46 24-16 = 8 39-16 = 23 49-16 = 33 53-16 = 37 ... The unique gaps are 4, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 17, 23, 25, 29, 32, 33, 37, 42, 46. This combination has 15 unique gaps (the most it can have for a pick-6) but we adjust it by 5 in the case of pick-6 lotteries (the number of gaps between the lowest an

Texas: 9/1 - 9/30/2021
Oh, believe me, I feel you because I feel the same way. When I see people trying to explain their strategy, 99% of the time it's too complicated to understand. This is why I started putting all of the terms and definitions that I use/created in one place so people can have a better chance at understanding what I'm saying here-- Tips and Information I think the solution is just like learning any new thing. The people teaching have to have a dictionary/glossary or just something avail
