Partnerships between MUSL and non-MUSL members
As you probably know, GA, KY, and VA teamed up to offer Lotto South. After some colossal mistakes, LS was retired this year, replaced by LOSE for Life. The odd thing about the union is that KY is a MUSL member, while GA and VA, which each offer Mega Millions, are not. (GA was a MUSL member in the mid-1990s, until the Big Game (now MM) began.)
Lesser known is that Illinois, which sells MM, loans its pick-3 (and pick-4 I believe) numbers to Iowa, a MUSL state. Iowa pays 60% on numbers bets

Winning Mega Million ticket sold in Canton Michigan
I'm still waiting for Illinois to produce another MM jackpot winner. Illinois has not had one since September 27, 2002. Also, I matched just two white balls in last night's draw! grrrrrrrrr
This jackpot winner also sets a record for Mega Millions for total number of jackpots awarded in one year - this was the fourteenth MM jackpot awarded this year. Powerball's record is also fourteen jackpots and was set just last year (PB has had nine so far this year).

Illinois Lottery Mega Tripler Promo
Are they only doing that in Illinois or are other MM states going to offer this?

Illinois Lotto
I don't live in Illinois, but I think that they should keep it the way it is.

MM at 12 million
According to the Illinois lottery website, one ticket matched all six numbers, and that ticket was sold in California.

farewell old PB matrix...
Yep, if I lived in Illinois instead of Iowa, I'd stop playing Powerball unless THAT jackpot was at least $250 million.

Illinois Lotto is on a roll again!
IIRC the record for Illinois Lotto is about $69m in 1989, in the annuity-only era.

$75 million - big enough for me to get two tickets! I'm also trying for tonight's Illinois Lotto jackpot of $29.5 million!

Powerball Jackpot.
You've gotta love living on the border of Iowa (a Powerball state) and Illinois (a Mega Millions state)!
